Getting pretty tired of chasing down a vaccination now....

Does anyone know where they are vaccinating right now or in the coming two weeks? I was finally able to get an appointment through Phuketwin but it is still over a month away. I am hoping I could just drive by one of the current vaccination locations and maybe get some left over shots or one from someone who didnt show up.

So I have registered on the Phuket Win site exactly a week ago. After registering I have never received any kind of confirmation or appointment date. Zero communication was received from them since submitting my data. Is that the normal process? 

Hi, I just arrived to Phuket two weeks ago from Krabi. I am a 37 year old expat that would love to get vaccinated. I do not work in Thailand. Is it possible at all for me to get vaccinated? I am willing to pay for it and am not picky about which type of vaccination I will receive. 

They said they have contacts with immigration. If I dont pay they will send my passport to them and get me blacklisted. Calling my embassy now.

Just went to the police station to collect my passport. They wont give it back unless I pay 10000 thb. I am not currently blacklisted but this will change if I decide not to pay.

What is my play here?

So im out. 3.5k fine. My passport never made it to court, its still at the station. Should I call the police that the police is holding my passport ransom? :/

On my way to court now. Do police officers always bring the passport to court or is there a chance it is still at the police station?

Coincidentally I also had an electronic cigarette on me and they gave me hell for that. Saying that I would have to pay 100k for that and that it was way more serious than the small DUI.

In the final reports I signed it mentioned nothing about the ecig according to my gf. Hope to hell she is right too.

Should I lawyer up?

Is there a way to check if i am blacklisted tomorrow? Or even later today when I am at court?

I got caught driving after 2 glasses of wine. On the breathalizer I scored 53 (mg?) where 50 is the legal limit. I am about to go to court to pay the fine. The officer told me that I will also get blacklisted and that I will have to come back to the police station tomorrow in order to get this cleaned up.

Is it true that I will get blacklisted? Or are the BiB trying to get some extra money out of me?It seems like a pretty severe penalty.

They had a contact with a consulate official in Savanakhet. Took 3 days from payment for my passport with the new visa to arrive back in Vientiane.

And am I right to assume that if I have all bank statements and a utility bill with me that they will give me a 2 entry TR without any issues?

Does Savanakhet hand out 2 entry TRs?

On my last 2 entry tourist visa from Vientiane I received a blue stamp stating that "Proofs of residence in Thailand & financial income are required next time."

I plan on going to the consulate again at the end of this month to apply for a new 2 entry tourist visa. I have a bank book from K-Bank that shows more than enough money coming in every month (not sure if it shows that it is coming in from a foreign account, but it is) so I assume that would serve as my financial proof. Or should I bring cash money too? Then for the proof of residence; can this be an internet bill or do I have to get an official document from immigration?

Currently my Dutch passport holds 2x double entry tourist visas from Vientiane, 1x single entry from Kuala Lumpur and a few exemption stamps.

Is it still a good idea for me to go to Vientiane and try to get a double entry TR? Or should I go elsewhere? If so, which consulate would be best.

Slightly off topic: What do are we supposed to do with old batteries? The Thai I have asked just told me to throw them out with the regular garbage.

I am on my third new card in as many months. Each time it was because of skimmers in the area (Rawai).

As far as I have read you should be OK. I will be making the same trip activating my second entry at the end of the month. Please keep us updated as to how you fared.

I keep a really clean system, so I was very surprised to be "infected". Wish I had figured out the DNS issue before running a bunch of aggressive anti malware applications because I have had 3 BSODs in the last 2 hours :/

I had been getting a lot of pop ups saying "WARNING! Your Flash Player may be out of date. Please update to continue" when visiting Facebook, Youtube and Google. My flash player is the latest version and this pop up was an obvious fake. Look at the screenshots:

I was getting the pop ups in Firefox, IE and Chrome.

After doing some research I noticed that I would get these pop ups on both my Android tablet and iPhone as well! So I suspected there was something wrong with the modem/router. After doing some googling I changed my DNS servers to OpenDNS and the problem disappeared...

Did anyone else on TOT experience this today?
