I have received my jabs in a somewhat less than conventional format.

I got #1 On July 18, at SCG Bangsue - that is a Bangkok Health Department/BMA program, that jab initially appeared only on the ThaiRuamJai website.

I got #2 at Bangsue Grand Central on Sept 10. But that was purely by accident. I was at bangsue to get that 13-digit number because everyone i had spoken to said that it had to go to Bangsue.  When i got there and they finally understood what i neeed, the staff also noticed that exactly 8 weeks had passed since my -#1 jab… That meant i was now eligible for #2, so they asked me if i wanted my #2 right then and there.. so i agreed.  My #2 was at Bangsue.. that meant i got both my 13-digits code.

Last week i got an SMS for my “second” jab via ThaiRuamJai - because the TRJ data doesn’t know that i already got my true #2 at Bangsue, a Morphrom run program.

So, now -I have my #3. In total Thairuamjai thinks I’ve had 2 and am fully vaxxed.. and Morphrom thinks I’ve had 1, so i’m betting that in a few moths, i’ll be told to get #2 (which would then be #4) unless the two major vax platforms better merge their data.

You should get a message via Morphrom when it’s time for your #2.

Again, once again thanks for the great information. I currently don't have my 13 digit number so I expect to get that when I roll up to Bang Sue CS.

OP, i had the same problem… and the only way i could get that 13 digit number was to speak to the data entry staff (step 2) at Bangsue Grand Central …

I called and even visited several other places, DDC office, MoPH Nonthaburi, etc in hopes i could get it that way… and all said that the number is on/will be on the vaccine certificate and only the site that actually gave me my jab can issue the certificate..

so essentially for me, all roads lead to Bangsue.

Thanks for the great information, this is actually what I was looking for - Can you tell me when you are due to go to Bang Sue for your second jab ? Mine is the 21st.

I'm going to Bang Sue for my second shot on the 17th (next Sunday). From what I've been told you need to tell them you want that certificate before you leave and they can provide it to foreigners, otherwise you need to get it later in a more complicated process.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking to avoid having to go to Bang Sue if I can avoid it. I'm due to go the 21st so any feedback you get would be appreciated just in case I have to go.

  4. My wife (Thai) and I got our first vaccinations from Bang Sue Central Station and the certificate that they gave her has her ID Number on it but mine does not have the 13 digit number that I need for the Mor Prom APP. She can login and see her history and I cannot.

Any ideas how I can get this number without having to trek to BKK ?

Reason why I ask is that I am due my second AZ on Wednesday at Hua Hin Hospital and I want to make sure that it is linked to Bang Sue. HHH seem to be  a bit unsure of what to do.

You have registered but .... you are not eligible for vaccination!!!
Will be vaccinated in the next round after more vaccines
Please check in through the system again.

Where / how do you check ?

    Thanks

You cannot change from a non-b visa to a non-o visa and you do have to do it.

You can change the reason for your extension of stay from working to marriage when your current extension is near ending or if your job ended.

You will need to meet the financial requirements for a extension based upon marriage that are 400k baht in a Thai bank for 2 months or proof of 40k baht income. If still working you could use your income from your job.

@Ubonjoe - Thanks - so having the extension of stay based on marriage will mean that I dont need to leave the country when I retire ?

  7. Background

Living and working in Thailand on a Non-B visa with a work permit due to expire later this year. There will be no problem in getting an extension on either the Visa or Work Permit.

Been married to a Thai national a long long time.

Due to retire in about 1 year - to be fixed with my employer.

    Questions.

If I leave my job on a Non-B due I need to leave the Country within a certain period of time ?

Can I convert my Non-B to a Non-O based on marriage now, or at  the next extension ?

Is it sensible to do the conversion prior to my retirement ?

     Thanks

    Mike

  8. You do it at the Department of Consular Affairs of the MFA on Chaeng Wattana road.

Thanks for this, it makes it very clear the process. Most probably go for the express service as I live out of Bangkok.

  9. Can this be done in any immigration office or does this need to be done in my “home” immigration office.

    Some points -

I have a WP and am registered in BKK at the company’s Hq.

Never done a 90day report as I travel most weeks outside of Thailand.

I live in the Pattaya area. I have a rental agreement for the house I rent in my name.

    Thanks for any help

  10. https://www.passport.service.gov.uk/overseas/information/thailand/renew/adult

Even if an agent is retained you will have to do most of the work.

In the link above it states that after you apply for a new passport it is not possible to travel on the existing one. Is this correct ?

If so is there any way around this as I travel most weeks out of Thailand.

    Thanks

    Mike

  11. All rather painless for me too. I was in the Pattaya DLT just off the 36.

Arrived at 8.35 and left at 9.25 with two driving licenses. More or less the same procedure as Chris, but no Video for me (no idea why as the room was right next to where everything was going on) and only one color test not two.

The process is quite easy, good and very detailed instruction is posted here (applicable for all Thailand): https://iglu.net/how-to-get-a-thai-driving-license/

Overall costs ~ 600-800 THB (depends on medical certificate).

Just a couple of questions on this.

In the "Docs required PDF it states in point 3 that you Need to be resident for 6 months. Is this correct ? I have been resident for 3 months and was planning to get my license soon.

I have An IDP and a full British Driving License. What tests, if any will I need to take for both motorbike and car ?

Do you need to two times the docs - one for motorbike and one for car ?

    Thanks

    Mike
