Alohaa! Got my motorbike 5 months ago, and have been happily driving around ever since in polluted Bangkok. Now the motorbike tax sticker is expired, and I would like to buy a new one, from MORCHIT vehicle tax dpt. Went there but they wouldn t help me, needed to register the motorbike first in my name they told me ...

THAIVISA wrote somewhere that you only need a NON IMM B and work permit for registring a motorbike or car in your name. Well, I went to the immigration office, and I was sent to all floors, only to return home empty handed. They said i needed to live in Thailand for three months on this NON IMM B before they could start the paperwork....

I have got a NON IMM B, and a proof of residence... and in a couple of weeks my WP... Any suggestions how to tackle this?

I dunno whattodo! Anybody has been through this succesfully?

Just got back from visa trip to Savannaket, Laos, for the NON IMM B.

The staff at this small Thai Consulate in Laos had a thorough look at the bunch of paperwork my Thai sponsor had given me, but only 3 hours later I walked out, proudly, holding my NON IMM B.

Hope the work permit will go as smooth as this one!

Guys... The DIETHELM Annual report 2004 states that the average stay for alien TOURISTS visiting thailand in 2003 was 9 (nine) days... So I suppose that the gov. ain t stupid to understand that these huge amounts of people that are asking for one month extrensions on two months visas are not really visiting the country but rather living here... So be smarter, get yourselves other types of visas and keep enjoying LOS

First of all, I want to share this information based on my own experience ... You CAN GET a Non Imm B or two Months TOURIST from the Thai Embassy/Consulate in Vientiane, Laos. I have done it three times now (tourist visa) but it takes 3 days to process!

Did anyone get a NON IMM B from Savannaket? My friend told me they issue a TOURIST VISA there (S., Laos) in 2 hours time, but he didn t know about the NON IMM B> there fore I am throwing the Q. on THAIVISA

I need a NON IMM B, have all the docs but not the time to wait for three days in Vientiane... So, please let me know if you have succesfully done this before.

I think they call it evolution.

Many of the great party s I have attended where organised by a bunch of friends on some place or another, making quickly the talk of town and then they become the legendaric partys years later. then everybody is looking for IT like if it is a ghost. Don t look for partys, become it, breathe it, and you will have fun everywhere.
