here are 2 videos on how to tie the FG knot. One's by hand and the other with the assistance of a knotter aka FG Knotter.
The FG knot is one of the strongest and smoothest knot (when moving through the guides during casting). Personally, I have been using the FG knot for the longest time and it works for me but I'm not implying in anyway that it is the best. Whatever knot one chooses, as long as it lands that huge bugger (and it doesn't slip and/or snap)..... stick with it!
