If you send by normal mail it's usually below 20% tax/customs fee.
If you use DHL/FEDEX/UPS etc expect up to 50%.
But Customs decide what they think it's worth. Ones had to pay almost 500% tax on a used fuel tank.

I'm using 3M PERFECT-IT Show car Paste wax. 1250Baht at Lazada. Get very good reviews on Autogeek.net.
Have a fantastic wet look after waxing.

I like 3M car products. Good quality and price. I buy it from 3M's own shop on Lazada.

REPS in Banchang is good.

A few months ago I was told by our mailman that they have a lack of people in Banchang so each mailman have to do several districts which delay the mail delivery. Not sure if this is still the case.

I was caught "speeding" 14 years ago when driving behind a tractor waiting to turn off highway to Don Muang. Must have done about 30!!! The Police stopped me on the exit ramp to Don Muang.

DMAX is already gone. If they stop NGC also then it's time to cancel True.

Nice shop,
And for our Swedish followers I can tell you they have Felix Smorgas and Boston gurka, Kalles kaviar and Greve' ost and a few other Swedish food items.

All the areas within Eastern Star are well kept but you need to use the pools next to the clubhouse, probably more than 25000 though.

I agree with your approach but I've had difficulty finding what I'd call quality tools here.
Can you offer a suggestion as to where to find them?
Hardwarehouse stores selling a brand called Tactix that is pretty good quality for the price.

I had a lot sent to me in BC by post over the years and only lost a few items.
Last year there have been a lot of delays in receiving mail and was told by our postman that they are under staffed. One man have to do 2-3 man job.

Tesco etc sell a few cooling additives with some rust inhibitor in it but don't know about quality.
I buy Castrol or Valvoline coolant from Lazada just to be safe.

There are many different leather in cars and the one I have in my Hondas is for sure on the lower scale in quality. It's strong but that's because most of it isn't real leather.
Real quality leather is dyed with the same color through it. Cheap leather have coating on top of it and you have another color if you look on the back of it. My Hondas have the later.

Looks like Pizza Italia have closed, all the signs are down.

I don't know why they change VIN. Could be perfectly legal. Who knows, this is Thailand. I do know of cars that had the VIN changed.
What I'm trying to say is that grey area imports are a mess. The law haven't been black and white. Just read the news about the ongoing cases.

Be carefull when you use "Somchai's garage" and make sure they do a safe job. I been bringing back an old Porsche to life the last years after it been "serviced" by "Somchai" for 25 years or so. Most of the job's I had to do was to bring the car back to original as many of the "fixes" done earlier was really dangerous.
A good independent garage will give you the options to use original, aftermarket or parts from other cars that might "fit" depending on you budget.

never heard that. i own a grey import CLS with authentic VIN plate from Zuffenhausen which matches the VIN in the blue book.
Here's the Thai supplied VIN plate for a early 70's Corvette I looked at.
Original Chevrolet VIN would start with 1Z 1=Chevrolet Z=Corvette

Since when do grey imports have the VIN changed?
Some do.
Grey import is a BIG grey area were the cars come here in many ways. Many 100% legal and many not so legal.

psst... shhh... please don't tell anybody that after 2½ years i detected by chance the location of the battery
Yes it's well hidden, need to have some muscles to get the spare wheel out first which usually is pretty stuck in it's space.

I heard for years that there is a local "strongman" that stop development of all supermarkets in BC to save the "mom & pop" stores. Must have no interest in building supply stores though ????
