Ancelotti being sacked is something of a shock for me though, I mean, even after the news recently about his uncertain future, I still think that Roman would be smart enough to know that Carlo is still the man. I guess this is a major difference between Manutd and Chelsea. (Not a dig at Chelsea by the way, but from a neutral perspective, you've got to admit that Roman is seriously wrong there.)

I finally got my curtains installed, I use blackout curtains, although more expensive than traditional curtains, my home faces the sun in the morning so it can get quite hot. I didn't install them myself though, but the shop installs them for free.

I don't know much about the price, but I am quite happy with the quality.

Windows in 3 bedrooms, 3 bathroom,1 kitchen, 1 living room, 1 maidroom, 3 large doors for price of 28,000 baht which includes everything (curtain, curtain rail, stitching, installation etc.)

I've checked with many places, but this price is the lowest if I want good quality blackout curtains and rails.

Anybody got similar deals? Do people mostly install curtains themselves or let professionals do it?

The condo is a 35 square meter studio on the 22nd floor of the Prime 11 condominium with one bathroom fully furnished with brand new 32 inch screen LCD, washing machine, microwave, refrigerator, king size bed, bathtub, warm water, fast internet speed, and satellite tv.

The location is the best part though, it is located in Sukhumvit 11 which has huge numbers of convenient shops, restaurants, and the soi itself is pretty close to shopping malls and bts skytrain (Nana station). The Sukhumvit 11 soi has one of the best atmospheres in the entire central bangkok district, please don't have take my word for it, you can observe this fact for yourself when you have the time. In fact, there is a huge community of western expats living in that soi, so you can be sure that the locals there can understand english, this is a huge advantage expecially for expats who are still not that confident in the thai language. Furthermore, the condo is a walking distance from the bts station Nana, therefore you don't have to spend money on taxis to get to the bts for traveling. Spending on taxi everyday to get to BTS can be a money drainer, these costs can easily be saved not to mention convenience. The soi is full of clubs as well, so to be honest, i have to say that it would be more suitable for singles, but i do see alot of couples living in that soi. I will try to post all the pics in this thread. Although it takes a really long time to upload big files, so if anyone is interested, please PM me and i will be glad to send you more higher quality pics

I saw ATM Decor sold black out curtains as well as block out curtains. By the way, ATM Decor is located in The Mall Bangkapi ground floor, in the textiles section.<BR>They not only have black out curtains but also "block out" curtains, which are the UV blacking out plastic material already woven into the satin material, therefore you would not have to buy two materials and stitch them together, you just buy one material, and by the way, it is quite cheap. I am moving to near Bangkapi, does the Mall Bangkapi have a curtain shop? The Mall seems to be the location where everybody in Bangkapi hangs out. Does anybody know or live in the area?
