  1. Honda cbr1000rr Thai version. 145 hp at rear wheel by unblocking the speed limit, just modifying the air box and funnels and adding bazzaz ecu, akra slip on and k&n air filter! these cost not expensive.

dyno attached. dyno looks smooth. no bad.

    .

That chart still looks a bit messed up, not a typical CBR1000 full spec map. Do you know what dyno it was run on? full spec CBR's with exhaust/fuel controller are running about 160hp on most of the dynojet dynos in Bangkok.

Attached is what a dyno chart should look like (2012

  2. I've been following the development on FB for a long while now and while the work looks good, why is all of the content in thai only? Yes we are in Thailand but this is supposed to be the first world class circuit here. Time to switch to English promotional material if they want to compete against the new South American tracks for world level events I reckon.

Sent from a telephone, which make and model is no concern of yours….

Their website is in Thai or English

  3. ^

RB gets US-spec ZX-10Rs, which are down about 20hp to the European version (due to emissions requirements) and require an ECU flash to bring them up to par. It's a nice bike, but holds no real interest for me as I already have a very similar electronics package in my 14R (which doesn't even approach the BMW system), and I want to try the current cutting edge.

I don't plan on riding on the track much- I brought up the DDC suspension (which is actually a major selling point for me) as I think it's the best current street suspension, in contrast to Italian superbikes, which tend to be built more for the track and less for the street.

The fact it's a very complicated bike is what has me concerned- I can see service possibly being a problem, and I'm still mulling it over.

My experience so far with the BMW is that as long as you have some electronic knowledge it's easier to work on then any other bike (CBR1000, R6, ER6, GSXR) that i've owned. Just buy the diagonistic tool GS-911 and get yourself the service manual and any issues are easily found because everything is electronic. For the DDC, I've heard it handles trackday pace very well but conversional race suspension will be better for race pace.

As for the US spec zx10, the ECU can be changed to full spec very easy.

  4. I've got two engines for it..full FIM super stock spec and a World Endurance spec as spare, The Horse power is probably about the same as the stock engine but the midrange torque/power is night and day difference from the other BMW's I ridden. It's geared to hit 5th gear at BIRA, was hitting 236km/hr on Monday. Taking it to sepang next month where it should see 280km/hr+

Shane, tells me corner speeds are pretty awesome at Sepang.

  6. That confirms it's a smaller bike circuit then

Current fastest lap was by an R6.

What is the time? do you know?

Just curious as I saw one earlier was on a ER6

    & was 52 seconds.

Heard it did it 1sec faster than the Ninja 650 which was 52sec so must have done 51secs.

He did a 51.2s on 08 R6...#24, he races at Thailand circuit sometimes in the supersport class.

  7. It happened in the moto3 race....Blown engine going through the first chicane that dropped oil over the racing line. i think a total of 9 bikes went down and many of the injured were from the first group of riders that went down and then got hit by flying bikes from the second group. 3+ ambulances were used to take people to the hospital, the track/oil was cleared and we continued with the race schedule. It wasn't until i finished tmy race that we found out someone had died and a couple more with bad injuries. A sad day for Thai racing, RIP#65
