Is the amount of money you need to keep in a Thai bank still 800k or has it increased? Have heard that some amounts for other visas have increased.

The 2016 Ford Ecosport is said to be able to use the nice and cheap fuel E85. Sounds good but does it reduce the car's performance noticeably? And  I've read it can cause long term damage to the fuel system?

good points - price ok and good boot space

bad points - from the side just looks like a slightly taller Honda Mobilio...

The Ford is still top of my wanted list but will check out next years motor shows and try and find out when the transmission problems have really been fixed.

Thankfully I'm not in a rush to get a new car so will wait a while and see what develops ... with cars looking so alike these days it's not very exciting choosing a new model, especially as I want to spend less than 800k baht.

hi ... i'm considering buying a new Ford Ecosport. Have checked other options like Honda HRV and Mazda CX3 but they are too expensive. My big concern about the Ford  is the problem many buyers have experienced worldwide re the dodgy powershift gearbox ... have the powershift problems been resolved on Thai Ecosports? ... Can't get any answers from Ford ... any help pls ...
