How about teaching the Thai people what their indicator is for, why it is dangerous to drive on the wrong side of the road, how to switch on their lights, not to carry more than 1 passenger on a bike, how to make a right turn off a main road, when making a left turn look to see if any traffic is heading towards them, when they see someone ahead indicating right do not overtake on the outside, etc,etc,etc

Poor bloke, do any of you out there really think he deserves the sentence he will recieve. Is Thailand reserved for the rich only and out of bounds for anyone who simply has the guts to leave his own country in hope of a better lifestyle and I would bet he never came to Thailand in the first place with intent to do anything illegal.

If the system was fair he would be able to find other honest work anywhere without fear of prosicution.

Just returned from Penang where I recieved a 90 day Non immigrant "O" visa on producing a copy of my girlfiends ID and my sons birth certificate. I was offered a multiple entry and will go for it next time.

Not really, I was just curious. I had contact with a chap in Kanchanaburi several years ago and we visited his worm farm there. Also met up with him in BKK. If it is the same guy he also contributed to several threads on this forum, but under a different name, so I was just wondering if it is the same chap as I don't think there were that many worm farms in Kanchanaburi. Maybe I should PM him, but he knows me and my TV name so if he sees this he'll answer.

I have just changed feed for my worms. Yesterday I took up some advice I got from Vietnam and loaded a bed with high carbon composted pig manure. Unlike you I dont have any cows and I thought why not if it will save the few baht buying the cow manure. Well if 24 hours is any gauge it is the best thing I could do, the worms are into the pig leaving like I cannot believe. Admittedly there was little cow stuff left and a good number of worms were in the bedding layer. This morning every one is in the top inch and I have castings on the surface in a day.

I For years I owned a large worm farm in Kanchanaburi but sadly had to close it down due to lack of funding. 6 weeks after I was on National radio and since must of recieved 500 calls easily requesting worms, compost, info etc. I still breed a few worms at the rear of the house and would like to start again on a commercial scale, if any one is interested please get in touch.

Must just be the Thais that I associate with, usualy they answer how can it be a bird if it's a chicken and it goes on from there.

Try this out on your Thai girlfriend/boyfriend.Just ask whether a chicken is a bird and you'll be a amazed at the response.

Of course I didn't overstay on pupose, do you think i enjoy selling scrap, I also picked sweetcorn for 150 baht per day and went without food on a regular basis. I'd also like to point out that the only people who really helped me out were Thais.

Do you honestly believe that most people overstay on purpose. For the first time in over 20 years I overstayed my visa, for a period of 15 months.

This was because a holier than though, Gospel preaching Farang ripped me off over a million baht. As a result my company collapsed and I ending up selling scrap to feed my family.

You are an idiot, an unpleasant one at that, this guy was broke after being ripped off, what should he do? Over the years I have known many such cases, it's not intended, just circumstances beyond their control.

I read many people on here who have zero compasion and are at their own countrymens throats, what an unpleasant lot many of you are! We really are on our own here, can't even expect sympathy and help from our own kind and certainly zero from the indigenous lot, only "I'm alright Jack".

Before you think differently, I am fully stamped up, and up to date with everything, but know how difficult life really is. I don't know why I look on here, mostly just to get information, but all I get is angry with a lot of you horrible lot.
