A question of mine was answered earlier in regards to setting up an online business in thailand, and I could use some more clarification on a few things.

I am wondering if a 100% foreign owned export company would be right for my business as i would be buying footwear directly from manufactureres in thailand, and shipping them myself directly from bangkok to the customers international address. I will not be manufacturing my own products, or advertising them in thailand etc. this is why i believe a 100% foreign owned export company would fit my business. however, i remember reading that we also have a condition on packaging products if we are export companies? i would have to package these items to send them overseas to a customer...the idea of loose footwear showing up at your door is silly, so i suppose i misunderstood that segment. anyway, i am wondering how i can go about registering a company like this in thailand. what body regulates this area of business? are we still subject to to the usual business taxes that thailand has? any help would be appreciated. also if you could provise any links to sites with more information, i would appreciate it. thankyou.

My partner and I plan to start an online business focused entirely on footwear, exporting these items out of thailand. I am wondering if we have to register as a business as we will not need to hire employees, rent an office, and we will not be selling any goods within thailand. Our servers, banks etc, will be located overseas as well.

My questions are:

-Do we still need a minimum registered capital of 2M baht to register our company?

-Do we need three promoters to start our business? (even though the website itself will be finished upon entering thailand)

-What kind of visa could we enter thailand on, to operate our business? (we do not plan to apply for residency)

-Does our company have to be majority owned by thais when it is based online?

Are there any steps to registration that I have not mentioned and therefore do not know about that you could help me with?
