    Yes, always makes me laugh when I see these wind speeds as something bad during a storm. Imagine a hurricane like we get in the UK hitting Thailand.

    I was on Phu Quoc island Vietnam during this time. the first day was fine but on the 23rd and 24th the winds had picked up and all sea going vessels, fishing boats, local island tour boats were stopped from using the sea as it was too choppy. As a result, zero mishaps. Maybe Thailand could learn a lesson from this.
