Called the consulate in Amsterdam and they confirm that tourist visa are free for the time being.

Asked the lady why this is not mentioned on their website.

Only change mentioned is the price for single entry touristvisa increased to 30 euro on August 2, 2010.

She got little bit unfriendly so I didnt asked what they do if people follow the procedure on the website and send their passport and application on the mail together with 30 euro....

Sorry if this has been asked before but are tourist visa only free for usa citizens?

I am from Holland and on the website of the Thai embassy in Holland it says nothing about the free tourist visa's.

Single entry tourist visa: 30 euro , double entry 60 euro.

So is a tourist visa free in Holland too for this year?

Does anyone know if there are floods between Chok Chai and Khonburee??

My girlfriend lives between chok chai and konburi and they had to evacuate because "much water coming now" ( her words)

She said that they were told that some dam could break and the area could be flood,

She went to a nearby village that is more up and stayed there from 8 pm until 11 pm.

She just called me to tell me that Police from Chok chai said that there is no immidiate danger now and they can go back.
