It would seem to be the most likely explanation...

Paul Scholes (Man Utd) is lucky he never played in the AFL otherwise he'd probably be jailed for life.

Hawthorn captain Ben Stratton will have to front the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday to plead his case after being referred directly by Match Review Officer Michael Christian.
Stratton, who was widely criticised for pinching Essendon forward Orazio Fantasia, was charged with "Serious Misconduct" for his actions.
While no free kick was paid for Stratton's pinching, according to rule 21.2.2, pinching an opponent is a reportable offence.
Sounds like he will end up with more than a fine.

If they pinch, you punch them in the head
Dipper, on Up The Guts.
Problem is if Fantasia retaliates, he's the one that gets suspended. He brought it to the attention of the umpires at quarter time but it continued.
Carry on like Stratton in any other work place and you're in strife, so no problem with him getting a couple of weeks if that is what is needed to send a message pinching will not be tolerated.

Ratten maybe, still has much support at Princes Park. Sliding doors... will always wonder how things would have turned out if Carlton held their nerve with Ratts instead of going with the Malthouse trainwreck. In retrospect Ratten didn't do too badly, coached four finals.
Roos... would cost a million or two but would he really be interested or doing it just for the money? Maybe a consulting role would work better.
Brad Scott... maybe but depends if you thought he was any good at North... I'd pass.
Voss... nope.
Luke Beveridge... not the worst suggestion I've heard.
Bring back Fev (really) to teach the forwards how to lead because despite having talent like Curnow and McKay, right now they don't present too often.
Greg Williams is working with Paddy Dow... but Dow is kicking worse by the week. Maybe a confidence thing because he had a rep as a good kick in junior footy.
Get Craig Bradley or some other ex player who can kick to a target to show them how it's done, as just about the whole team keep turning the ball over again and again when they go forward. For AFL players their kicking skills are woeful. Went with some friends to the GWS game in Melbourne late last year and it was like GWS versus a local park team. They turned it over even when kicking to a teammate twenty mts in the clear. Yes there are a lot of young players but they can get the ball, but when they do they are slow in their decision making which puts pressure on their next kick which then keeps getting picked off by opposition defenders.

How long have they been doing this? I have never had to do this at any other airport. Don't be like that, Singapore.
Changi have been doing this a while now. Jetstar and Air Asia Bangkok to Singapore, on at least half my arrivals for the past four years.

I also think you'll find, if you look carefully around the cask, that it has added fruit juice, i.e. labelled Fruit Wine, probably somewhere in small print.
I didn't take a closer look at the fine print as I get a bit nervous handling expensive wine...

In Australia $15.99 (360 baht) is the most you would expect to pay for a five litre (Berri Estates) cask wine at most discount liquor merchants... saw this in a supermarket Friday... 1,639 baht ($73)... things are out of control when cask wine needs a security dooverlacky attached...
Found a Pattaya Mail news item from Christmas 2014 and this same wine sold for 859 baht back then, so the price has almost doubled in only four and a half years.

Now, I can't say it is exactly the same Shiraz as the one you pictured (no Classic on the label) but the USA price for a Jacobs Creek Shiraz... $5.95 or 190 baht... 7,500 miles shipping...

Four and five litre cask wines that retail in Australia for under fifteen dollars...in Thailand they sell for the equivalent $50-60...

I've worked filling shelves daytime and after hours back in the day. My old store managers would have gone ballistic if we had so many aisles customers couldn't get a trolley through, with stock scattered across the floor for customers to trip over. As a worker you want to get the job done as quickly as possible but you need to do it with minimal interference to your customers which wasn't happening yesterday in the store I was in. We used to manage to get the job done efficiently with only a fraction of the staff you see here. Poor management.

I was in a very large Tesco yesterday afternoon and I have never seen so many blocked and congested aisles, with staff working at a speed that would see them fired back home. Must be stocking up for the Songkran rush.

A couple of years ago I was in a government office completing a transfer of land and needed my signature witnessed. Office staff were not allowed to help so I had to ask one of the other people waiting. By signing all they were doing was stating they had witnessed me sign the document, nothing more, nothing less. I had to ask five people before someone would agree... this was in in Australia btw...

This isn't only for Decathlon Thailand. They will also ask you in Singapore, the Philippines, Australia etc. They say it is for making returns or warranty claims easier. I've bought a few items from various stores and have never been sent any marketing e-mails after creating an account. You can use the same account across Asia if you happen to want to keep track of purchases. If you don't then all you need say is you don't use e-mail and don't have a Thai number, or just give fake details.

Tokyu Department Store in MBK requires passport if buy 2,000 Baht of groceries

If you're a tourist and spend the qualifying amount, then take the items out of Thailand, why not?
In Singapore they also have a tax refund scheme. I always shop when there at a well known department store with a huge grocery selection. Minimum purchase is SD100 which can be spread over multiple receipts. They have several counters in store to process the paperwork you later present at the airport. So long as you are a tourist taking the goods including groceries out of Singapore you can claim a refund. I stock up on imported products that are far cheaper there than in Thailand e.g. Nescafe Gold decaf, an eye watering 599 baht in Thailand or a more acceptable SD13 (290bt) in Singapore.
