I have no experience of people being killed for no reason in LOS, so IMO he was either in the wrong place at the wrong time, or he offended someone he should not have, OR, he was suicidal for some reason unknown at this point in time.

Would anyone have suspected Robin Williams of being suicidal?

Sorry, but i did'nt realise that Robin Williams did it whilst in Thailand.

He had already more than enough money when he started with politics about 20 years ago. At that time he told everybody that he is so rich that this will guarantee that he is an honest politician because he doesn't need more money.

And some people even believed him. Amazing Thailand.

I still do and detest any military dictator, but if that is what you like, why don't you move to Myanmar.

    “Let’s play it by ear.”

Yes, you heard right. In a recent interview at the UN General Assembly in New York, Thailand’s new Prime Minister, Srettha Thavisin, indicated his willingness to involve the former Prime Minister, then fugitive, now inmate, Thaksin Shinawatra in the government once he is released from prison.

The interview was with Bloomberg Television’s Haslinda Amin. “I believe he has value to add to the government and to the people of Thailand.”

The new PM says he’s determined to revitalise Thailand’s economy, which has underperformed recently compared to its SE Asian neighbours following nearly a decade of military-dominated rule.

I am not a convicted criminal who evaded justice for 15 years. Let us say he is a public figure who has been convicted of several crimes, I am not sure he is entitled to the privacy of a monk. Justice needs to be seen to be done.... or not.

We don't need to see any endoscope recordings, a few statements simply..

He was not evading justice, but trumped up charges designed by the military coup people who knew how popular he was and were afraid of his return. However due to their power, the "Sheep" accepted their lies.

Thaksin didn't do all this because he didn’t have any tanks at his command. He would do all the things you mentioned, and more, for power and money. He is no better than the generals, maybe worse. I am no apologist for Prayut and the coup crew, but ,at least,  he can let go, much too late, but he got the message. Thaksin just cannot let go. Only I can fix it. Just like Trump he sees himself as the savior of the nation. These two are among the most hideous, most despicable human beings I have ever seen.

You are so smug in your delberations even though it is obvious that the poorer part of the Thai population followed and adored him, unlike you "johnny come lately" falang sheep.

All Thai politicians do that! It's like a feeding frenzy!

I wonder how many of these smart assed idiots who post anti Thaksin vomit in here were actually around when Thaksin was in power before the corrupt military had their coup with their first task to bring many false and pathetic charges against Thaksin. You see, he was very popular with the majority of the Thai poorer population. Back in those days Thailand was a  "go ahead" country with a bright future unlike today's dictatorship. Even if was corrupt, a very few Thai politicians are not, he looked after his people and they knew it. Today to have any hope of a good life, one has to be rich and a member of the ruling classes. Yes i remember Thailand back in the days of Thaksin when there was hope for poorer population.

I think there are circumstances where the crime, or crimes were so horrific, no trial should be required, and there should be a mandatory death penalty carried out within 30 days. Just be off with the cretin. An old school panel of three judges, or something to that effect. If there is enough evidence, eye witnesses, or sufficient forensic proof, why should the state, the people, and the families have to be made to suffer?

I truly believe there are lines in life, when stepped over, create a self revocation of the right to consume oxygen. So, why allow him to continue to live?

He should be buried ALIVE under the concrete where he put his poor little daughter.
