  1. From two weeks to one month (Revenue Office Surat Thani)
  2. Sure, I also paid online, I got the receipt of my payment and asked R.O. 21 (declaration of thax paid) and R.O. 22 (declaration of fiscal residence) that had sent to me by mail. I did not look for a specific receipt of submission.
  3. This is the second year I've filed my taxes online (pension only). The previous tax return is automatically displayed, and you just need to make the changes. It's very quick and easy, no problem.
  4. Phuket. Every year I am doing, in Phuket, my extension without agent and without any problem, but everyone has their own way of measuring the difficulties...... What about a non-O obtained in Europe for 90 days and a subsequent re-entry for 30 (or 60) days visa exempt ?
  5. I think it would be difficult for him to be qualified for DTV. He just had his first annual extension based on non-O, and he is astonished from all the paper and time involved in this. Maybe he's not so familiar with Thai bureaucracy....... So now he's looking for a simpler process, and he's saying that it is easy for him obtaining the non-O in his country, and would like to find the way to increase his staying from 90 to 120 days.
  6. He prefers to avoid the bureaucracy and documents necessary for the annual extension, and is looking for alternatives. It seems that obtaining the non-O in his country is rather simple.
  7. Person over 50, from Europe. What's the best and easiest way to spend four months a year, every year, in Thailand? One option could be a retirement non-O visa obtained in his country and at the end of 90 days leaving Thailand and re-entering without a visa to have another 60 days (or 30 if they will be reduced)? In this way could he run into problems over the years? Any other suggestions?
  8. In Phuket my 90 days online after returning from abroad was accepted in January 2025, and was accepted again one month ago. Things never stop changing......
  9. federicoP posted a topic in Phuket
Any suggestions on a company that can do maintenance or replace a roof covering made with sheets of tar paper like in this photo?
  10. A week ago, at a restaurant I regularly frequent, a young man with a girl had dinner, and when it was time to pay the bill, they both disappeared. A few days later, the young man (according to the owner, the same one mentioned in this conversation) showed up again, saying he'd done something stupid, that he regretted it and apologized, and that he wanted to pay the amount due. Sincere remorse, or fear of further charges being filed against him (considering that this restaurant has CCTV ) ? 😀😀 I hope this person will be banned from returning to Thailand forever, maybe he will learn his lesson.
  11. I understand that the first 90-day notification, after returning from abroad, should always be submitted in person. I tried submitting it online anyway, and after a couple of hours, it was accepted. Here are my details: Original non-O retirement visa, staying permit renewed annually. Returned to Thailand on October 16, 2025. Notification submitted online on January 5, 2026 (9 days before the 90-day deadline). My local immigration office: Phuket.
  12. I had a joint account with my wife at SBC, opened about twenty years ago, without any problem. But I had to close it because with a joint account it was not possible to use the app on the phone.
  13. Why not build flyovers instead of underpasses in Phuket? Less construction time, fewer groundwater problems, and, above all, less expensive. Fear of ruining a landscape already largely ruined by uncontrolled and unplanned construction? Or fear of managing less expensive public works...? In the case of the Heroines, I can also understand the fear of ruining the patriotic significance of the roundabout, but what was there to fear of ruining at the Chalong roundabout, at the end of the bypass road or at the airport junction?
  14. I buy from M Phuket Landscape, near the Chalong Temple, they are not very close to you but have a very good choice of plants. Ready-to-lay grass does not last a lot when stored, so call them before going to make sure that they have the quantity you need when you go. Please note that your grass looks to be the kind they call "Malaysia grass"
  15. Fine is not enough, ban them from Thailand
