Some children suffer such incredible amounts of trauma drugs take away the pain, at least for a bit.
Trauma plus years of drug use many end up completely dysfunctional.
Who knows this man's story. But better to stay silent than immediately dismiss him as an effing loser imo.
And millions face great trauma and never do drugs ever! If I was betting he would tip towards a loser.

Maybe someone else mentioned this to the OP but I didn't see it. No one commented on his porno addiction! That's the root of his problems and keeping him inside. You are only doing three things.
1. Going on YouTube2. Going on AN
3. Spending the entire rest of the day watching porno ( other stuff )

Not at all, its human behavior when we are not well physically or mentally. Have you ever had heat stroke? Yes it could be a mental breakdown, but I was not there and I do not know. Maybe he had heat stroke, fell down the stairs from the BTS and security guard assisted him, or he was hit by a car. Do we know what led up to this incident? NO!
It has to be you with such a strange comment.

Yes, and car parking is a problem
I've been dozens of times and park on the road closet to market ( the road is off the small road that goes to the old train station) every single time. Same when I go the other direction on that same road that the police station is on. When I go to restaurants around there I can park every time.

The child's guardians DID give proper guidance by saying 'Go in there and nick whatever is lying around'
Rather silly to leave a phone in full sight of an open doorway.
I bet you are perfect always. I also bet that this NEVER happened at this place before as well.

Given your last comment, seemingly so... Obviously, I just struggled understanding your humour as much as you struggled with the attempt at being humorous !!!
Okay Mr fun. Here's the real story. My brother in law is Thai. He is visiting from Daytona Beach. On his way out to Kamala today he asked " remind me what side they drive on?" I told him the left. Off he went! It's my fault. I'm sorry.

This is becoming foolishly painful to comprehend. Masks for communicable diseases and ONLY foreigners. Just sooo foolish.

Hope I'm not gonna piss them off 😄
You can just ask them. I do it now when exiting a country. No problem at all.

Is that why they get flushed when drinking copious amounts of alcohol?
I lived in Japan 2 years and they would get super flushed ( some ) after two beers. White to red!

You shouldn't take it out on the staff, they just do what they are told. If you want a beer or whatever find a store without an electronic till, or keep some spare in the cupboard.
I guess still you and Josephbloggs and TWO others don't get that I was explaining this to CUSTOMERS not staff!!! How in the world do most tourists know of this silly law??

Well done for explaining it to minimum wage workers who are just doing their jobs and have absolutely no influence on the laws. What a joy you must be.Both YOU and the George character seem to be the only posters who didn't understand that I'm CLEARLY talking about the customers not the staff. Get it now? So who's the " joy" now????

You are wrong this is widely known. Aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) is one of the two enzymes primarily involved in alcohol metabolism. Several variants exist of the gene that produces ALDH. One of these gene variants, which generates a nonfunctional enzyme, is present in Asians but not in Caucasians and African-Americans.

Don't these fools ever go to Malaysia or Indonesia which are Muslim countries and see beer and alcohol are available between 2 and 5pm?? Then of course same in Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam , Cambodia etc..It's completely silly for a loss of better words. How many times in Paragon or at 7/11 I've had to explain this to people and they are completely baffled!

The short term rental market in Thailand is huge, It's not just Airbnb, you have Booking.com, Agoda, VRBO, Trip advisor and many more.
One big problem with the STR properties is the absentee landlords were many guest do self checkin there is no control over how many guest are checking in, one reason why they turn into parties and places get trashed things get stolen,
Some states in America require the host to be living within a certain distance from the property.
To ban airbnb altogether is not the answer you would have to ban the whole of the STR business.
Many people prefer to rent an airbnb over a hotel I think the figures and results tell you that, You cant beat renting a nice Pool villa with a full kitchen you can go and do all your own shopping for food and drink, Ha s been popular over the years with Russian families especially when they have a couple of kids,
Do you think there is a reason for Russians finding it popular besides their " love" for Thailand? You seem to be quite positive about this but I feel a real "NIMBY" vibe from you. Did you read the post already about the guy who had to move out of his 17 year residence and rent a separate apartment in Jomtien? Unfortunately many other of these exact same stories in condos as well.

Which would you rather have as tourists in your country? Brits, Russians or Chinese?
Russians. There seems to be a whole new upper middle class/ upper class very family centric and keep to themselves types everywhere I visit in Thailand. They spend a lot of baht too!! Go to five star resorts and there are heaps of them spending. So for sure I'd welcome them in my country. I go to Sunny Isles Florida every year before coming to Thailand in the Winter. The amounts of Russians there is unbelievable and they seem to be mega rich and very well behaved.

I'm as far from gullible as you are from having a clue to what I am. I could last 50 years and more here if I chose to, but I will leave because it's not a good place to raise my daughter. I grew up in New Jersey, with a New York City area influence, and I'm thinking you don't understand what that means. It means we don't take sh*t from anyone, and always pay back those who have wronged us, no matter where we live. I learned all of the lessons I need in life in my first few years living there, and that's something you will never get. What I wrote is dead on as far as him thinking ratting out other foreigners is a smart thing. You do that you'll pay. It's none of his business, and if you're standing by what he said, I'm suspicious of your thinking also. I have no Agatha Christie books on my shelf, whatever you mean by that. I see Papillon, To Kill a Mockingbird and the Bible on my computer desk. Snap out of what? Reality? Try telling a foreigner he's a scumbag deadbeat and see where it gets you, at least the ones who aren't too old to remember payback. I'm thinking you aren't a farang by your remarks. If you are, that's pretty sad, and that makes you just like him.
What a Jersey comment! That's why the civilized ones grew up in Connecticut not New Jersey. Townie see townie do. What exit???

I have gotten two Visas from the LA Consulate over the last 8 months. Both times took less then 10 business days. I found the Consulate to be very helpful, they pick up the phone and reply to emails very quickly.
Why would you have to call them?

Might as well holiday in Pattaya!
Spain's BIG gain. Pattaya's loss. The Brits in Spain , The Netherlands and many other countries in Europe are getting constant complaints Cheap Euro airfares have destroyed some places. Drinking is out of control. It's embarrassing.
