I love it....you need to be accountable for your work whether a barber or Thai Airways...It's time for the Thai culture understand immediate feedback for inferior or perceived poor work
Lesson learned
This is not the question of responsibility but rather of misunderstanding. If you don't speak Thai or you can't explain what you want you have to control your feelings anyway.

10's of millions of males single or in bad marriages want to come here. Mostly sick of the woman in their countries with bad attitudes, fat, and weird hangups.
Why not; Booze, good food, good prices and plenty of sex here. Take out a few of the negatives and it is male nirvana.
Warm climate round the year, delicious food, low cost rent, low cost services like massage you will not find anywhere else in the other countries, pretty advanced infrastructure including transportation, friendliness of local people...

Maybe the man is the grandfather of the child and doesn't know that he needs power of attorney from both parents to travel a child across the border.
(a notarized power of attorney for a child to travel abroad is the consent of the parents, issued as an official document).

No need to exaggerate - most of Russian people don't live like that - and never experienced such misarable views in their lives. Lots of regions, small towns and villages are abandoned or half-abandoned now - as many especially young people have moved to bigger towns or cities.
I would say the life in Russian big cities is much more comfortable than in Thailand though the climate in some areas like Eastern or Northern part of Russia is tough. There are often no differences between life in the Russian big cities and life in Western Europe.- 1

what are the vast majority of them doing here?
Some of them living an idle life, some of them working remotely.
Quotehow are they supporting themselves and their families without working?
Some of them working remotely, some of them have pre-saved capital, some of them are funded from abroad.
Quotehow long are they going to stay here?
Some of them stay for years (elite, student, retirement, tourist visas), some of them stay for 3 months of visa free period, some of them come on package chartered tours especially in winter.
Quotewill they ever go home? why dont they just go back to russia, put on their army uniforms and face the music. they started the war after all, best go back home now and fight it imo.
No. Half of people (less or more) don't support the war - why should they fight at it? They think it is not protective war for Russia so no remorses for them...

Luxury condo in Soi Buakhao ? This has got to be a joke. Soi Buakhao is a slum catering to low life mongers.
Not only mongers but budget travellers too - decent quality at a low price and convenient location - with restaurants, bars, massages, barber shops nearby and not so far from the beach, shopping centres and markets.

It begs the question, which Russians are 'allowed' by their employers to have a 90 day holiday.....NONE.
Holiday - no, but many Russian companies now allow to work remotely (for example IT companies, travel companies tarificators, web designers, accountants, any back office managers etc etc).

Actually Phuket and Turkey are just one of the cheapest directions for holidays. No need looking a political reasons.
I don't think so. But it depends which part of Russia to get to Thailand from.
From Moscow you can get hot deal for return airtickets on charter flights to Turkey for 130 USD, but to Phuket it's 300 USD - on "pirates travel" website.
(regular flights two times more expensive but much more safe and reliable).
Simple accommodation rent in Thailand is cheaper than in Moscow, food prices are maybe the same.
But the main problem with Thailand as long stay destination is the huge visa expenses not affordable for most of ordinary Russians.
As for a short package tour Dubai /Turkey/Egypt are much more cheaper than Thailand if to travel from Moscow (for Siberian and Far East Russian cities yes - Hainan, Vietnam, Thailand are the the most cheap short beach holiday destinations).
Anyway I think as mobilization is looming more and more Russians who can afford it will be going abroad including to Thailand - the political factor cannot be written off.

Thailand is also one of the few countries that issues VOA to Russians. Once here the TV can be switched to something more permanent.
No, you are wrong. From March 2007 Russian citizens get visa exempt entrance into Thailand (30 days).

Also try to search it on Airbnb. I think there is an advantage often not to pay a 1-2 months deposit to the owner compared to other ways of renting.

They should reduce it to 14 days, fresh new notes arriving every fortnight instead of every month, no tourists comes in for 30 days, they don't get 30 days holiday a year, 4 weeks Max, and why would you want to spend your entire 4 weeks every year in Thailand of all places, unless your ugly and hard up for a woman.
Yes, ordinary tour-package tourists don't come for 1 month and more - but long stay people who can afford it, - do!
And they spend minimum 20 000 baht per month: they rent property, they eat food, they shop - which is good for Thai economy and just better than nothing anyway.

A lot of them work online for their current Russian employers. Since the pandemic, online work has become the norm. The cost of living in Thailand is lower than in Russia, even including visa expenses. So most of them can stay in Thailand indefinitely without any issues.
How they can stay long term - through education visa only.
Or doing visaruns every 2 months but without guaranteed permission to enter again after a couple of visaruns...

Thailand should prolong the 45 days visa exempt period after 31 March - the country still needs more tourists especially for low season.

How can Thai guides be the guides for example for Russian groups if not speaking Russing language?Impossible. If only to serve as a "support" guide paired with Russian speaking guide.

It is only a call for cancellation of visa on arrival for Russians and Ukrainians by Bali's governor but not the cancellation.

my old Samsung phone has now slowed down so much it`s almost useless
Operational system and applications are getting bigger, some new updates are not compatible with the old phone - while the chip is rather weak if it's budget phone-so, it works slower with time.
And when getting a new phone it is probably better to get minimum 4 GB RAM.

How can these Russians be refugees?
They are either draft dodgers , criminals or Russian Mafia...
Draft dodgers are considered anti-war dissidents in Russia, which results in long jail terms prosecution, that's why they could be considered refugees in democratic countries...

You have to hope that the water is treated properly though.
In Bangkok condo I stayed before they controlled the water quality and put the info on a board. Despite 2 towers only few people, mostly travellers, used the pool. And it seemed I used the condo sauna alone 99% of my usage ))
The swimming pool was rather big 50m long though I could make it in one dive ))

No,Putin does not have 86% approving rating alleged by Putin's propaganda machine. Feels like half of it. Most people I know in Russia do not support him.
"As many as half of all the votes reported for Vladimir Putin in Russia’s presidential election last week were fraudulent, according to Russian independent media reports using a statistical method devised by analyst Sergey Shpilkin to estimate the extent of voter manipulation"...
