    Some interesting bits on formaldehyde:

Chang like all Thai domestically brewed beers contains Formaline, a mixture of Formaldehyde and Glycerine which actually makes buzzed rather than pissed. You can remove it by tipping the chang upside down into a glass of water, holding the neck below the rim. Then watch as the Formaline sinks out into the water, it looks awful and in fact is. What you are left with a cleaner tasting Chang, the one that won awards abroad because Formaline is not put into the stuff they export to Australia etc, it's illegal. Those professing undying love for this beer, needed to know that. I like it, but in moderation, it makes a mighty hangover.

The sharp pains in the head you get from a "Changover" suggest that it is not dehydration that is the root cause but perhaps a special added ingredient. If you drink a warm Chang then it will taste vastly different from a well-chilled Chang. It has been suggested that the reason for this is formaldehyde. God only knows why they add it but every brewery in Thailand seems to find it necessary to add it in varying quantities to every beer they make. I really don’t know if it is done for cost factors or if they just think that is how beer is made but it has to be said that despite the added ingredient the beer is fantastically successful.

in Europe a Beer is spoiled if you keep it in the cellar for to long.. here the can keep the Beer at an average 30 Celsius or in the sun for a long time, the just put ice to drink so there must be some preservative to prevent it from getting bad

Sometimes, a little thing can help.

Find a nice small stone or piece of glass that was washed by water, get some bergamot leaves and some tamarind kernel (or from other fruit), put all in a small fabrics bag and give it to your wife's friend. Tell her it will protect her from her husband's spells. She will believe it and feel better and you will save money.

for 8000 find someone to cut of the cheating guys balls , put all in a small fabrics bag and give it to your wife's friend.she can be sure the cheating guy is cured, no magic or spell anymore

  3. They could always try the US approach and bomb the hell out of them, seems to have worked really well in Iraq.libya etc.

Especially since they were first...just as in 911.

Perhaps they should try a different approach, other than terrorism, first off. Because it is not working !

the US approach has worked very well.

instead of Saddam and Gaddafi in control of there country's where there citizens had a normal life we have now Isis

Bush and Blair should be taken to court for war crimes.

  4. I think two died before the siege. RIP to them sad.png . For the other two pigs, I hope the 72 virgins they were seeking are all hairy ladyboys. coffee1.gif

let History teach how yo deal with Islam terror

After an engagement with indigenous Muslim troops, where American troops came out ahead, General Pershing reportedly had the moro fighters who were either killed in the battle or executed, buried in a mass grave -- along with dead pigs and drenched in pigs blood. This would mean that they could not enter Heaven, even if they died as terrorist martyrs.

i bet the will miss there virgins

  6. Pigs have higher intelligence than a dog, but the Americans and British have no issues about eating them and subjecting those animals to grotesque living conditions. However, eating dogs or whales or anything that looks cute, is a huge taboo. Epic double standards.

I would never eat dog, but would never criticize anyone for it.

its not so much the eating of Dog meat , but the way how the kill the dog

  7. Those are centerfire cartridges (with removeable primers.) Probably 9mm just guessing by the looks.

I've never seen a pen gun before that wasn't rim fire .22, which is deadly but small with low recoil.

Those would be hard to hold onto and would probably badly sting your hand. There's enough combustion chamber pressure that I wouldn't trust them to not blow up. I doubt they are the same steel as a real gun, nor are they heat treated after machining.

it looks like the are fold-able so to fire you will have to fold that thing to a more or less 90 degree angle and hold it like a real Pistol , makes aiming more easy and takes the sting out of the recoil.

Not foldable,,, you unscrew the front portion, load, screw back on,,, the "Z" shaped slot is the firing mechanism... you can fire quickly by sliding back with your thumb, release it,,,, or, "cock" it,, by sliding the bolt back, pushing the small portion protruding over into the "L" portion,,, then to fire, slide it over, out of the slot with your thumb, Can be done one handed,,, The really scary thing is that they're small enough to be, "palmed",,, walk up behind someone, press into the back, fire, keep walking,,,, Yes there'd be a "bang/report",,, but without a breach opening to allow the sound out, and pressed against someone,, on a noisy street,,, most people would never notice it,,, esp a small caliber,,, Or in a crowded/noisy night club,, press against someone, bang, drop, walk away,,, scary,,

    Have a good look

Unbelievable. How many have to die ? 9 dead by last count on a failed condo construction and now this. Totally inexcusable. My heart goes out the little girl and her family.

I insisted he grounded the water heater or I would not pay him. He angrily cursed in Thai and said: you Farang know nothing: no need green wire to make it work!

It is appalling that an ATM of a major bank had an electric leak most likely because it was not grounded.

Today, many bungalows have an multi point heater, with 6.000 to 8.000 Watt,

    http://ehomemarts.tarad.com/product.detail_928460_en_4928435

which requires at least a 7,5 sq mm wiring to the main breaker box.

in any case it is advisable to have an ELCB ( Earth Leakage circuit breaker) installed

The lack of minimum sq.mm is a huge safety issue.

In terms of a earthing system installation, the missing of an annual control of the ground connection under tropical climate is an issue,

cause rotten connectors will change your house safety.
