If you look well enough, you can always find a bar that is open. I always went to Kata, when you come from Nai Harn the last steep part before you drive into Kata, there is a bar on your left, under a big tree; That one was always open on these occasions. Many a great night had. As well in Kata itself there was always a bar or two open.

Dont understand all the constant negatives on here about Phuket anyway. Lived there for about two years and not a day goes by that I dont think about the fabulous time I had in Phuket. Think people need to get back to the basics why they are there! Its an amazing island, has it got problems, sure, what place hasnt got problems?

Hi, who knows the owners or a phone number, email or website for the bungalos across from Ya-Nui beach? They are the houses right across the road. When I lived in Rawai I tried to rent one long term but they only rent for holiday makers, now I am returning for vacation and would like to stay there.

Just been wondering about this case, has been going for long time now. Lived in Nai Harn at the time when he got arrested. Remember work being done after he got arrested on the site? Is there still work? Does the guy float around again? Seems like a forgotten story? BUt very much interested, the hotel seems to be doing well...
