  1. It's like looking for the yeti! Where do you go to subscribe to the daily newsletter? Thanks guys
  2. Seriously, why does a person's age matter here. Yes, if the driver was considered too old or a danger to other drivers, you might point this out as a possible reason for the accident. Why does the journalist have to state the ages, it has nothing to do with the accident. It just serves to let biggots start commenting about age gaps... If Hugh Hefner has been in an accident with his 30 year old wife, people who have commnented he went happy. Just sad this type of journalism. If you want to write something about age gaps do it, but don't tie this with a story about road accidents.
  3. To be honest why would anyone watch a programme that is hosted by a homophobic government that believes sexual orientation is a choice. Also the number of deaths of the workers has never been accounted for. I can guarantee that foreign worker deaths by far outweigh Qatari deaths in the building. Sorry, but I hope they don't find the billion baht and decide to spend the money on Thai facilities or a programme to benefit the whole Thai population.
  4. Yes you are correct MFA, I couldn't think of the name. Give to them, pay 200 baht they send it back to you the next day by ems.
  5. Ok quick reply. 1. You do not need to go to KL. 2. You need at least 15 days on a tourist visa or visa exempt to process the Non-B in Bangkok. 3. If not go to the border, in and out and get a 30 day visa exempt. 4. Your school take this to the immigration to change from tourist or visa exempt to Non-B 5. With the Non-B your school takes you to get a work permit. For this you will need verified and notarized copy of your degree. You can make a copy of your degree and have this notarized and verified to save the original but you must send both for notarization. These are both done in your own country, if it is England. some countries will do it at the embassy in Bangkok. If from England you need. a. Notarized by a solicitor or JP b. Verified at Milton Keynes by the Universities Board c. Verified at the Thai Embassy in London d. Verified and stamped by the Labour Office in Thailand 6. Once you have these you will then get a medical certificate (no more than 2 weeks old) If possible a DBS certificate from your home country to show you have no criminal record. 7 After getting the WP which takes between 3-7 days, you will go back to immigration to extend the non-b for a year or to the end of your contract if shorter. 8. Following this you will do a 90 day report online, or at immigration every 90 days to stay in Thailand. If you school is genuine they know this. Fees to pay which the school should pay are Tourist to Non B - 1900b, WP 3100 bt Non B extension 1900 The school usually pay the WP and extension. Feel free to drop me a comment if you need more advice JJ
