Of course you can get a reciept of payed tax. You or your accountant should have that online or by mail every year after filing and approval of the company´s economical and yearly declaration.
My thoughts, it's my first time since returning from Thailand so I am unfamiliar. I will quiz him again. Do you think a tax return and bank statements will suffice.

Can't answer the question directly but there's a lot of information here if you haven't already found these websites
Home Office publication on the financial requirement
and the Appendix FM-SE: family members specified evidence
You list in the OP docs that are relevant only to the financial requirement - presumably that's not your full list of supporting documents?
Thank I'll have a wade through it tonight. I think I have seen everything but always worth a check.

Ok thanks. Is there still a British embassy in Bangkok. Can this be done through a visa agent to save the hassle of Bangkok. I have never been married.

Hi, I have it my head that to marry my Thai girlfriend I have to prove I am not already married in the UK. Is this correct. If so how. Thanks.

Thanks again. How long will it take from online application to interview. Also when the online is submitted I can see it can be amended. At what point does this stop. Can it be changed right up to the interview or does it stop once the date is given.

Ok thanks I am starting to get a much better picture thank you all. My situation is basically I shut my business 18 months ago in Thailand. I now work 4 months and 4 months in the UK with extended holiday's between per year. You will understand that after 10 years permanently together it is difficult. What I am trying to achieve is 6 months in UK together. 3 months alone in UK and then 3 months in Thailand together. It's costly with 2 extended holiday's as I am self employed. I will make this clear as part of the application. Would supporting evidence from my landlady help along with evidence from her work. She works for family so they will be helpful and the landlady will help. We have been good payers for 10 years.

She works in a restaurant/bar but is paid cash in hand. We have lived in the same house for 10 years but no rent book or contract so how to prove to the embassy.
4 hours ago, rasg said:You are better off doing all of the paperwork and Internet application for her.
Does she have a job? That is one of the best reasons to return but if you can prove that you have lived together for that length of time you shouldn’t have a problem.

Thank you all. Just a few more. 1) Can I complete the online process from the UK as she is not very technical, doesn't have an e mail. Just send me copies and keep originals. 2) What would I need as proof of relationship. We have lived together for 10 years in Thailand but nothing as formal as a marriage. Friends on Facebook is weak. I sent her money when I returned to the UK last September. Can't think of much else other than references.

Is there a step by step guide anywhere to apply for a 6 month holiday for the girlfriend to the UK next year. I will be back in Thailand in January to make the application. I lived in Thailand for 15 years and we have been together 11 years. I have always returned alone due to financial reasons so never been on this side of a visa application before. Any help would be much appreciated. TIA.
