Patong is HEAVEN! What more could one ask for. All the up sides of Pattaya and Bangkok and noe of the down shots. I notice that the BG's are even more nice. Lots of couples, (not Sanookers) are around the bar zones. I fellow had his wife and kids at a bar and everybody mad them feel at home. Even the LB's from a nearby watering hole we good the the kids! How well will people deal with the world if one day they wake up as a adult and seeing many many things that don't fit into the picture that was presented to them as children........<deleted>, this family had a very sexy teenie boper who know whe was getting the eye, no problem!

I think that Phuket has is all. You have luxury life in gated communities to hillside residences in Patong. If you want to live near action, have a quiet home in a tropical nearly pollution free area its Phuket! opening the cost of living will go down 10% or more!

Hard to see any downside to living in Patong!

Seems a few punter have decided to host a party for the FLB staff on Oct 14.

Lost of gifts for the staff and no problem joining in on the gift a staff person.

Wonderful twist...Seems some warm hearted patrons are hosting a party for the Staff of Freelancer Bar on Walking Street in Pattaya. It is for and about saying thanks to the staff for being so great. OCT 14 all are welcom and just bring some little gifts for the girls. I'm sure there will be well organised system to "gift the girls"

I concept of random cheching for passports is really something not acceptable in the home land of most visitors. Fined and off the a Jail house for whatever. Not needed! Why don't they go after the people who slip drugs to visitors and steal their passports as way to make it more safe to carry the document! Random Urine Tests......Look the problem with drugs is the plight of the users, those who become victims of drug users and how about the importers. The problem here is that many countries allow different levels of drug use or "refuse to enforce" minor offences. Some countries allow use for medical reasons! So off to Thailand and

Try the Italian guy across from the Thara Patong. We all may laugh but the Pixxa Co on soi Bangla has a very good Tom Yom Kung pizza and nice salad bar with very cold beer. Newish place but still very good

I hear and read the bus loads of tourists are headed to jail for not haveing their passport and long lines for drug tests???? Is this the case in Pattaya and Phuket?
