  1. Hi all, I have been living in Thailand since 2004 on a Thai Wife visa (Non-Imm O), and apply annually for the 12 month extension. Last year my father sadly passed away so I had to return to the UK to plan his funeral and sort out his affairs. I am now ready to return home to Bangkok but while I've been away my visa has expired. I have now applied for a new 90 day single entry visa based on marriage. Here's my question... Can I apply for the 12 month extension as soon as I arrive or do I have to wait 60 days from the the date that I deposit ฿400,000 THB into my Thai bank account? Unfortunately I also let my Thai bank account run down while I was away. Due to my work I need to be able to travel freely in and out of the kingdom.
