The U.S., northern California grows the highest quality pot there is, and you can grow and buy it leagaly with a note from your doctor once a year.

Pot from anywhere else is looked down on as trash weed there.

The market is flooded there.

Most heavy smokers grow their own now, not a lot of folks looking to buy it!

BS Dutch skunk is total crap, actually it's more like harddrugs, grown with LOTS of chemicals and under artificial light. Nothing better then the relaxed and inspiring sunshine-grown Thai jungle herbs ! (although I decided to quit consuming 15 years ago as I got enough inspirations for the rest of my life and a few next lives as well)

As if they only grow skunk here, look at how many strains were and are grown and developed here. The Netherlands is famous for its ability to develop and grow the most amazing and best quality of plants, fruits and vegetables recognized and wanted worldwide. But I guess haters will always be haters. The only relevent point u made was about the strength nowadays which is 'sky high' but thats with all super strains, not exclusively here.

exactly! but wont happen... the mafia behind the prostitution and drugs are too powerful and wont let that happen that easy,

in Holland marihuana and prostitution are legal, and look at the crime rate in Holland related to gangs.

Sorry to correct you, but in Holland marihuana isn't legal...its just not actively being prosecuted. Criminal 'gangs' here are far more organized and smarter than the street gang amateurs over there in Asia...Thats why the crime rates are lower here...

I would say the thai police, but most of all the thai military is the one in charge like it is everywhere else in the country. The other mafia's are probably frenchised on a laissez-faire base, as long as they keep paying the military and police their cut, so they don't get too dirty hands. But thats just my wild guess...

A friend of mine(European) makes around 30.000 baht a month teaching English in Hat Yai. His English is far from perfect...I believe he had to get a certificate proving his English skills were 'sufficient' that had cost him $2000.

He is a foreigner however so I don't know if they would pay a Thai the same, or if they even would be willing to let Thais teach English to Thais...would be the most logic thing to do if you ask me because that way the children could ask explanation that they'd understand... But yeah you're talking about Thailand here, logic is not always the most obvious here

If it is a good mate(friend) I think you are almost obliged to tell him or at least give him a hint so he will discover it himself. The 'its none of your business' excuse is kind of selfish in my opinion. In my country people get beaten up by groups, while people are witnessing the incident and scared as hell they will also get a beating, so they say: its none of my business. Encroaching decrepitude of society's moral compas.

I would, however, be very very sure she is actually comitting adultry before informing your friend.

I think that we are forgetting the core problem that is causing most of the problems in Thailand. Straight up discrimination/protectionism. The Thais, and their government want to reap all the profits, but they aren't willing to carry the burdens and responsibilities that come with them. The fact that insane 'taxes' and fees are being charged for foreigners while their own citizens hardly pay taxes. The fact that scams and violence against foreigners is socially acceptable or not seriously taken care off. A lot of laws aren't seriously being enforced while fees and laws that generate money from expats and foreign tourist are strictly being enforced. Its a shame because this country has the potential to be a heaven on earth if they would be consequent in their morals...fun part is, when Thais go to the Western countries, they suddenly know to tell what their rights are and that they have equal rights as any other person in for exmple the USA or The Netherlands, while the same person would probably tell you that you are just a farang in Thailand and you have to do whatever they say you have to do in THEIR country.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is how I think and feel about the matter.

Hi there,

I, or rather, my friend, has a problem. She became pregnant because of an 'accident' and is considering to take it out. However this seems to be a lot trickier than in Europe and the families here don't really agree on these kind of decisions.

My question, to keep it short that is: Where do we need to go to get medicines/counseling/abortion? We live around the location of Bangkok/Pattaya.

I would be very pleased with any help.

P.S. The pregnancy is already 7-8 weeks.
