BangkokImages ... Hi , so are you saying a candid shot of a street seller , if you intend , maybe in the very distant future to sell it , I would need to walk up to them and offer them a fee . Or should I get in closer , ask if I can and maybe lose that candid moment .
Thanks

A well thought out set of photographs , some will make good pics for the wall .

Hi All
I love shooting candids but this is too close and very rude , only my opinion of course .

Hi Pierre ,
You say you are looking for Canon 5D or 1D including set of fix/fast lenses , what would these be 5D Mk1 or 2 and 1D Mk 1 2 3 or 4 or s cameras as it is going to be hard to get any of these combinatinations with a set of fast lenses with $5000.
Good luck with your search , there are many bargains to be had here in the Uk but I am not sure in Thailand , as I have looked on many occasions .
May I ask how you will get over the business rules to be able to open a shop .... just interested as I am about to try something myself ( not static and nowhere near you so dont worry .
Once again Good Luck with all .

I can second that , the 105mm is a stunning lens and won me 1st place on my first use of it at a local club ( this was a long time ago and was used on my F4 Nikon )
I use Canon now so I am not too sure of the crop factor , but I think it would be 1.6 so the 105 would be much longer on your camera eg ... 105 x 1.6 = 168 , so better for spooky wild life . ( sorry if I am telling you what you allready know).
