Hi everyone,
To sum it up.
Beginning thus week i found out i was pregnant. But with a checkup later this week the hcg levels dropped and pregnancy is already over. Which is fine.
However my gynecologist (private hospital) did found cysts on my ovaries on both sides. 5 cm and 2 cm.
She recommand surgery to remove it.
As i didnt know much about it back then i thought it was a good solution and necesarry in case of breaking.
But after speaking with other people and reading more about it. Maybe surgery isnt necesarly.
My doctor didnt mentioned what type of cysts it is. Also she didnt say anything about having a follow-up appointment first or other possible treatments.
I will talk to her again.
But I am also looking for second opinion.
I got recommandations for sirijai hospital, chulakorn, and phayathai.
Or these hospitals better than private hospitals in the area of ovarian issues?
Or good hospitals in terms of costs / service?
In my case. I have a good health insurance which doesnt restrict me in choosing a hospital.
But now I am wondering if because of this they give me an expensive solution because my insurance will cover it so they earn more money... Instead of giving me other solution.
In short. What is your experience with gynecologist and are there good ones (maybe better than the ones working in private hospitals) Who would you recommand?
Thanks in advance!!!

Hi everyone,
I am planning to go to Thai embassy abroad to obtain a non o visa based on marriage.
I have my Thai marriage certificate.
What i need to bring is:
Copy passport (me and spouse)
Thai marriage papers
Copy tabien baan
Bank statement.
Is this correct?
Or am i missing something ?
The marriage isnt yet registered in my own country.
This isnt a problem right?
The reason why i asked this is because the rules are more stricter after July.
Thanks in advance !

Thank you for the explanation. The Thai marriage law has some good things in it then.

Thanks for the answers. I read indeed that whats yours from before marriage stays yours.
But inheritance also? Even thought you get it for example during marriage?

Hi everyone,
I am planning to get married to a Thai citizen but if things do go wrong I don't want any hassle (and to reassure my parents).
We are both young so there are not any big assets yet but there can be in the future (e.g. when parent pass away).
I just want to simple prenuptial agreement, where it states that what we have now and what we will have in the future will be separated.
Any recommendations for a lawyer/firm?
And what will be the price for a simple prenup?
Thanks!

@ thaiwebsitedesign.
Thaipost itself.
When I ask for registration number to Germany for example. They do look it up. However the cannot find it for Germany through SAL only Airmail. Same thing for Singapore
but now also not for airmail.
Lol what can I do? Stand another 10 minutes demanding they somehow add it?
@ luckylew. Yes I know most countries are okay but certain countries cannot. But I feel like sending post to other countries becomes more and more difficult
especially trying to send liquid stuff to other countries.
Do you guys (or other people) know what this means? Those are extra options you can add. I was wondering what it actually is or does.
03-Int'l Express-Letter-Post Item (which is 25 baht extra)
02-Int'l A.R.-Letter-Post Item (which is 20 baht extra)

Hi everyone,
I send packages trough ThailandPost (usually as Airmail or SAL) including a track and trace number.
But I noticed already that with a couple of countries you cannot use the register option.
For example Germany doesn't have track and trace number with SAL. However if you use Airmail you can use the option for registration.
Now I noticed that sending to Singapore both SAL and Airmail don't give you the option for registration.
What are possible solutions for this? Without using a more expensive delivery method like DHL or sending it as a parcel.
I was also wondering what the other extra options do to the package.
03-Int'l Express-Letter-Post Item (which is 25 baht extra)
02-Int'l A.R.-Letter-Post Item (which is 20 baht extra)
Does anyone know what that means?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Just to check.
I want to do a visa run this month( over the border and back, at Laos). I am leaving to other country 2 weeks after.
I read that from August 12, this is not longer acceptable.
But now, you can still do it right? So I don't need to get a proper tourist visa and stay 1 night in Laos.
And do I get a warning in my passport?
I never did visa run before. Only 1 time double entry tourist visa and flying out of the country last month.
So my passport is still pretty clean I think?
Thanks in advance!

I just got back from the Post office and was told a 900gram package sent air was 900 b and SAL was 700B
the link you gave above says for 999 grams is 606 Air and 448 SAL for small package
is there anything you need to do to get the small package rate ? is there a size limit ? this is about a regular size magazine , but its rubber + wood
tape the package or string ? and can I "sew" the string or does it need to be tied ?
and how long does SAL take , its something we plan on selling on ebay and 2 weeks is OK , but 4-6 weeks would be a problem,
thanks for your help
I also have trouble with Thailand Post. They always wanna give me the most expensive rate and if I want to have the cheaper version they will look at me strangely like that it's almost never used.
Nowadays I always use sal and pay per small package, up untill 2 kg (price goes up per 100 gram).
"900gram package sent air was 900 b and SAL was 700B" --> that is the the standard package rate and not for the small packages (Like I said before they always wanna give you the most expensive rate)
Just specifically say "sal" and give them your package.
It will usually arrive between 2 and 4 weeks.
Do any of you know if thailandpost (with SAL) or EMS has cheaper rates for e.g. 10 a 20 kg packages? And under what name are those packages listed? I like to hear some experiences from others.
I haven't explored that option yet and it's not helping that the thailandpost website is currently down?!?
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, before i go to hua hin i want to check if i can still do it there.
I have a double tourist visa from Loas and entered Thailand in January.
So they gave me 60 days. Which i can extend with another 30 days without leaving the country.
Can i extend it at any immigration office in Thailand (e.g hua hin)
Or can you only do it in bangkok?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry if there is already a topic about it, couldnt find it.

Hi everyone,
After a couple of years on student visa i have get a double entry visa.
My passport expires in august 2014 and i have to leave the country before 20 January 2014.
This means i have 8 months left on my passport. Is this enough to get a double entry visa?
I will get a new passport also but that takes 4 weeks, so will probably get it after 20 January.
If this is all possible, is it also easy to put the visa in the new passport? Or can the thai immigration be difficult?
Thanks in advance!

i'm also new in Bangkok. And I also have my share in thai friends and family but I also miss the falang friends.

Thats true. occasionally I do find 41, bit they feel like 39. Anyways for the time being I bought some cheap shoes at tesco. They dont really fit, but its good enough to do the job.
-
Also size 40/41/42? Because I've been there before and all those little shops drive me crazy
-
I'm so happy I found this topic.
The last couple of weeks I'm trying to find shoes with size 40 or above but it is soo difficult. It gets me frustrated.
Normally I wear size 40, but in Thailand I need size 41 I think.
This evening I actually tried on size 40 of men shoes and I must say, the fit perfectly. However, they looked horrible.
I'm also looking for conservative and flat shoes (although not too conservative) and also with a reasonale price (around 500 -1000 bath).
I'm gonna take a look at the shops mentioned above. If you guys have more information about this topic, please write in down
Thai citizenship for foreign women married to a Thai
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
Hi everyone,
I was wondering how easy it is to get Thai citizenship being a women married to Thai husband.
I read that after 3 years marriage you can apply for it and after 1 year if you have a child together.
If you apply, how long does it take to get the Thai citizenship? And are there any requirements?
I read that you need to speak very good Thai. Is this the same requirement for foreigner women? As my Thai is not so good yet.
And what are the other requirements?
Thank you for any help about this.
