That's the same as me my non b visa was washed along with my passport so I'm not sure if I could get it put into my new passport as my visa needs renewed. Maybe I will have to travel to Bangkok and go to the British embassy and take it from their. As my work permit will have a different passport number

Looking for some advice

My passport was accidentally put in the was which is now destroyed this passport had my stamp in for Thailand.

The thing is I've got a second passport due to work does anyone have know how I could get this stamp put a into my new passport I also have my TM6 card with the admittance date into Thailand

Well immigration do this for me any advice would be very helpful

Yes im aware about about the extra three months but have to go back to the UK before and probably return after the 20th. Thats why I was asking about London issuing Non B visa as joe said their has been some reports of not getting them. So going to call before and find out if not Penang it is

Yeah what it was my lawyer who sorts it out for me said I needed to go to Malaysia but I've got to travel to the Uk in November. So my as well get it in London while Im over their thats why I came on here to ask for some advice as it will save me a trip to Penang.

Ok so I guess I would be ok to go to London as I'm a British Citizen with a British Passport. Ive you can not get 2x tourist visas in Penang without a resident card. Didn't realise it was also for a Non B

But been down that road with no joy the companies I work for only accept Enermech or Sparrows Stage 3 they don't accept anything else I know its stupid as most of the courses these days are OPITO approved.

But I think the Subsea construction and Dive companies are picky if you know what I mean but thanks for the advice

Normally you work 4weeks on and 4weeks off in the UKCS and six on and six off FG

The pay will depend on which company you work for but I would say 30000 to 35000 a year plus PAYE.

Yeah that's the reason I will be given Africa a wide berth. But if your going down their for a major company I'm sure you'll be well protected and well payed.

But me personally money isn't everything so I wouldn't take the chance.

I don't know much about the drill rigs as i work as a Crane op on the constructions ship out off Labuan

But what i do know is that a lot of my mates are working on the drill ships and they get serious money with all the perks

Your a mechanic if is was you i would look into going down that road. As I'm lead to believe once your in your more or less sorted until your ready to get out of the game all together.

And I know for a fact that Ocean Rig are screaming for men as i was ask to do a skype interview but declined as I'm not interested in the drillers as I come from a marine back ground and drillers involves to much work 5555555555
