I have a fledgling business either importing or making boats in the sizes mentioned, actually 12 - 28ft, mono-hull, tunnel hull or catamaran design. For an imported (Asian) made 17ft - 6' 8" beam boat based loosly on a B' Whaler it will be around 250k to 300k depending on exchange rates, etc - trailer and engines not included, all brand new. I can beat all of the 4 stroke prices in Thailand with well known Japanese brands and most of the 2 stroke prices also with either a Japanese brand or an American brand. The boats are well made and actually used by the police of the country of origin - if not one of the boats made by a UK/US team based in Thailand.

P.s. best fishing spots i know are :- Chew Lan reservoir - Surat Thani and the Andamans, a bit far offshore tho!
