I am not aware of there being any reset of it. There may one after a period of time but is has never happened as far as I know.

If you are married to a Thai you could get a multiple entry non-o visa that would allow unlimited 90 day entries for a year.

Thanks Ubonjoe the font of all knowledge as usual, I most certainly will get a ME non O visa for future visits.I didn't realise they were valid for a year. Brilliant and very useful in my case, where a trip to Thailand may come rarther quickly if family health issues deteriorate or worse.

    Cheers Raplahla

  2. Hello all, I was on my 6th visa  exemption on arrival in December last year. We arrived at Swampy and went to the Thai immigration lane with my wife. The girl on the desk asked why I didn't have a Tourist visa. My wife give her an explanation saying we were on a quick visit to see family prior to me undergoing surgery in January. So the girl smiled and stamped me in.But as stated inteterest was shown

Ubonjoe - when does the clock reset for 30 day exemptions by air on arrival in Thailand. If ever.

    Thanks Latch

  3. Hi all - I'm off to Issan in October - after numerous attempts with plastic baits i wanna try some good old GB worms - is it legal to bring then into Thailand.

There is no way I can buy bait locally it's just too rural.

I'm not a serious angler per se but would like the odd bite.

Me and the wife dug down about 3 metres for3 worms a while ago and got a few knocks but that was it.

    Thanks.

  4. I'm up for it won't be in Khu Khan until mid October though - so realise you cannot run a party around single members - but if it's later in the year I'll be there

  5. Hello all - I have just joined the forum and am just finding my feet, thanks to everyone involved in the setting up of the forum, not only a forum for Thailand but a fishing forum to-boot, "heaven".

Good idea by Stretch about formulating the park locations - not sure what a "sticky thread" is though is it a special sort of jig used in Thailand Ha Ha.

Boloa - I'm off to Issan on Feb 19th to Khu Khan for a fortnight - visiting the in-laws, where is your house ?

Special tanks to Robblok for answering my first post and making me feel like part of the community

Tight lines to all, Off to pack now - flying out from Manchester on Wed

  6. Thanks again robblok, It might be a bit of a wild-goose chase going to Lung Lee, all I want is to wet a line and have a few beers, while the wife goes shopping for stuff to take to her parents in Sisaket.

Do you know of anywhere more central to Bangkok, it doesn't matter if it's not that good as long as the crack is ok and there is a smell of a fish (and Heineken)

We are flying out to the Mrs parents on Saturday 19th - I've packed a telescopic rod this time see if I can catch a catfish, I'll probably have to hit it on the head with the ledger weight though.

    Tight-lines. R

  7. You seem to have covered most things, I'm sure the more experienced forum members would be able to give more advice on species to stock.

One of the thing I would like to see is a easy to navigate "Web page" with decent directions. and an address you can print off in Thai to give to the taxi driver.

Or maybe offer a pick-up service from the hotel.

Decent rods and reels etc, some of the gear I have rented at fishing parks has been of dubious quality.

    Good clean on-site toilets.

Location - speaking personally somewhere handy for BKK

Catch and cook is a god idea.

Not sure about the back-ground music though ????

Pricing should be reasonable but in ratio to the quality of the fish stocked. Not Bumsangan prices please!!!!!

Restaurant or snack-bar is a good idea - with plenty of cold Heineken.

The rest seems good to me.

Please let me know or PM me when your web-site is up and running.

I'll be out in Thailand in Nov - I'll come along if your up and running

    Best of luck - Raplahla

  8. After reading up there seem to be big fish but i have never seen them there. I thought it was all a marketing ploy. I might have to go there once again just to check it out.

Thanks for the reply Robblok, - will give Lung Lee a try then give a report back to the forum, good or bad, could you please give an address for Shadow lake, and can you hire gear there and get a bite to eat there ?.

    Many Thanks

  9. Hello everyone - as you can see this is my first post, so here goes, - we are arriving in Bangkok next Thursday late evening, and have found out since that on Friday it is a Thai festival - Mukha - Pacha (please excuse the spelling). Anyway to cut a long story short as most the bars will be closed we have decided to go fishing to, Lung Lee fishing park,

at Nonthanburi, where we will probably get a few beers anyway, has anyone fished there before, and is it worth the trip out from Central BKK.

    Thanks
