Unfortunately the "majority" of farang ladies in Thailand, just don't quite stack up in the looks department. Intelligence and a sense of humour only go so far.
Another obvious reason, majority of guys here are not interested in farang females.
Any other reason?
Not true! We do keep up with the looks department, but guess what ? We have more western taste in dressing up than Thai ladies. If you refer to beauty treatments to make our nose or add filler into our chin or silicone breasts, well we don't need that! We have it from the mother nature. And don't forget one thing. Thai ladies are doing so to look more like a farang woman!

Yes I agree that it's difficult to make a serious relation for a falang woman in Thailand especially with the farang guys. Firstly, most of the farang man coming here are very much keen on Thai ladies. Secondly, there is the so called myth that Thai ladies are better/ wilder in bed that a farang woman. UPS! Don't think this is true but anyway this is the saying. Third, the farang man like the submissive attitude of the Thai woman who always follows them and say "Up to you", contrary with a farang woman who would argue/ debate or discuss about certain things. And the list can go on.. I'm just amazed to read here on Thai Visa how many farangs has been ripped off by Thai ladies and still they don't learn their lesson. In regards of having a relation with a Thai men, when this is a bit tricky because, although they like the white skin ladies, they are not very much willing to adapt to the western thinking mentality of a Farang lady but rather try to convince the farang lady to adapt to the Thai stile. Which I must admit it's quite difficult to do a downgrade! So let me put it simple. It's almost impossible to have a serious relationship with a Farang guy in Thailand and absolutely difficult to have a relation with a Thai men.

I think so too, but I was hoping that maybe I can find a butchery which is selling fresh meat.
they do have chilled vac packed lamb in macro but as i said it would have been shipped frozen
I believe so! Then I lost all my hopes to find fresh meat, and I shall use the frozen one

Can any of you advice me or recommend me a place where I can buy fresh lamb meat in Pattaya? I would prefer fresh instead of buying it frozen from Makro.

What a circus! It was expected to happen like this as it's so typical Thai politicians style in giving promises but not being able to deliver as per their words! Sad for those kids who hoping to have something new to learn on and very frustrating for the parents who gave their vote to those who made such promises.

Yes. Thailand should bring in this law to prohibit older Farangs and other foreigners from marrying very young women .
I have seen some farangs with young wives who could be their grand daughters!.
Laos and Cambodia have enacted these law: why not Thailand.
Prohibit marriage by law it's really stupid move as if indeed they want to get married they can go to any other country. What about a Thai lady in her 45 and a farang in 55?
Instead, Thailand should educate it's young girls how to earn a decent living by work and education, and not be forced to marry a old farangs for the money sake.

The problem of pedophily in Thailand should be tackled by the local Thai authorities in the first place. Qustions to be answered are:
Who are those kids who become a victims and what are their family backround?
Why are they hanging out in places where they can easily become victims ... Bars, walking streets in Pattaya or other toursit places, Local internet caffe's, etc..
Why their parrents does not give the proper attention to their kids whereabout's?
What does the education system to educate children in school about such dangers in public places?
....and the list can continue.
I don't consider correct to condemn a nation like UK to be pedophile just becuase a bunch of criminals found Thailand the "perfect spot "for comiting such horrible acts!
But rather the Thai authorities should enfoce laws for child protection education and proper care for those who are not able to take care of their own children.

I wonder if they will also charge the foreign residents who are traveling often in and out of Thailand, who has a work permit, pay taxes and have multiple entry visa. No word about this! Perhaps everyone who does not held a Thai passport is considered tourist ...in any case this is really stupid and for sure will affect the tourism industry! What about the tourist who have a medical inssurance ? Will they also have to pay ? No word about this either ...
