Doing my application for retirement extension next week in Korat. 

Just did the TM30 in Korat immigration with wife. 15 min in and out. No problems. Pleasant staff and informative. 

Anyone gone through the process of getting a holiday visa for your Thai wife to visit UK/Ireland. I have looked up on gov sites and the application seems very in depth just for a holiday. Could a travel agent do it for her? She just wants to see where I'm from. We are married 5 years. 

Need some advice,  My wife is a Thai national, married a couple of years. I visit 2 or 3 times a year for 3 or 4 weeks at a time and will not be staying permanent until I retire in 5 years.  My question is would there be any benefit in applying for a marriage visa now or just wait until I am living in Thailand ?

Hi, anyone know of any breakeryards around Khorat, some call them wreckers yards. Had an accident with a scooter at a U turn and need a back door. Thought I might pick up one at a Breakers. Any addresses or names would be helpful thanks

Anyone try walking from BTS to Bus station. If so can you cut across the Chatuchak park ? Google earth says its only 2.7kms 30min walk

I am planning a trip as follows

Entry in Thailand 27th April

Flight out 27th May 01:55 , I calculate this as 31 days by dates.

But you need to check in 2 hrs before flight time.

This would be near midnight on the 26th May = 30 days

I just need reassurance this is correct as I want to get the full 30 days but not run into trouble if it is taken as 31 days

Hi, I am travelling from Khorat to Bangkok on Thursday am. Bus company says it will take 8-9 hrs due to flooding. As time is of importance when I get to Mo Chit is there transport to airport?
