For years I have extended my Visa based on marriage without an issue. It seems this year the IO is looking for a reason to deny my extension. The first quarter of the year I was sending my deposit to SCB and then changed to Bangkok Bank. The IO said this is not allowed. All 12 deposits must be to one bank, I said I am not aware of this and did not see it on the IMM website. She said it's a rule. I have 30 days remaining on my Visa and she wanted me to pay 1900THB for a 2 month Covid extension stating that this will give me 12 months of deposits into 1 bank. I hindsight, I should have just paid the 1900B and come back in 2 months. Today my wife received a call from IMM. They want to know why the amount I transfer each month is not the same. I make 2 transfers each month. One is about 12 to 14,000 THB and the other is 58 to 64,000 THB depending on the rate. There were months when the amounts were less due to purchases in the US or some unusually high bills that month. Regardless, my transfers were never less than 40,000THB, In fact I transferred more than 800,000 THB this year. In addition, proof of US income was provided. The IO now wants a letter stating why the transfers are not the same each month. Is there any rule that states I must transfer the same amount each month? Is there a rule that stating I must make 12 transfers to the same bank?

In the past I had issues with customs and always had to pay. I stopped sending parcels in my name and sent everything to my wife. Just received a $185. SSD from the US. It went right through customes in 4 hours and no fees. Last month I had a $95. item sent to my wife.. no issues no fees. Never heard about registering with Customs. When did this start?

It was a horror show. Never had an issue in 13 years till this Imm Captain rejected my income. I have monthly deposits totaling 438,000 THB deposited in BKK Bank over a 10 month period. An additional 380,000 THB deposited in SCB over 3 months. The IMM Officer rejected it stating I must have 400,000 deposited in one over 12 moths. Of course I showed her I have 438,000 in one bank which meets the requirement, Well, she refused to accept that. She insisted I pay 1900 THB for a 2 month Covid extension, and then I will have 12 deposits in one bank. If I do as she said, she will approve my extension in February. Now the Officer who checked my application, approved and sent it to the Captain for final approval came over and had a few words with the Captain. She suggested she call Head Office and get them to approve an exception for me. {she happens to be a friend of my wife]. Head Office said to go to both banks and get a letter stating my balance in each account. Off I went, came back 2 hours later and all seems to be well. They said return in a month for my Visa. As for the Appointment process. No one knew any about any such program.

Yes, monthly income is accepted by IMM. In fact, I am going to extend my visa based on marriage on Monday. I have used the monthly method for years without any issues.

Most IPTV provider have BBC World News.

Hey Guys.. For years I have been using an IPTV Provider for News, Sports and TV from home. They all claim to be the best. No freezing no buffering etc. The problem is the Thai Gov restricts the international bandwidth. Over the years I must have tried a dozen different providers. None have worked really well.
