any place that has as its main selling point 10,000 bars and 20,000 prostitutes is hardly likely to attract anybody else.
most people who visit these places go for some booze and some broads and enjoy themselves without ruining the place for others , but there are always some who dont know how to behave , and its no use asking scumbag drunks and whoremongers to behave with decorum because that is not how scumbag drunks and whoremongers behave.
if you want to rid pattaya of them, well , to keep flies out of the kitchen just put a bucket of sh1t in the hall , but that is probably how pattaya started in the first place.
the french have always had the right idea when it comes to prostitution , keep it discrete and keep it classy.
1 BAR = 2 PROSTITUTES? And the rest of the girls are?

In the 80 (1980's not 1880's) i was based in HMS Tamar Hong Kong..we had Gurkha Sigs , Engineers and Drivers..when they were due leave they got 6 weeks walking time ..when they flew into Katmandhu they would hire porters to carry their bags and walk home.
Generally if not accepted by the British they try there luck at getting into the Indian version as it is a big loss of face to go home.

Exactly Right Rod!
And another dit from the Falklands..a Gurkha stopped the advance of 40 Commando Royal Marines (the whole unit) ..because his Officer had told him nobody could proceed down the trail he was guarding! After his boss was brought it got sorted and the war was allowed to resume!

Amazing Thailand! Engineer been...sorted....gone! Changed the triple black lead (technical ain't i) all done....thank you very big!
-
Thanks for that! I will certainly watch with interest when (or if) the engineer comes to suss it out

Sorry ! Was i too cryptic? If you counted up every "To**er" that claimed to be in or ex it would work out to be the largest contingent of troops anywhere! As previously stated those that were generally let other people do the talking and if we are talking quality how about the SBS?

Do not stay there unless you are 100% fit...you have to climb(literally) in and out of the shower/bath tub combo! No facilities for disabled and running water in the corridors from the feet coming back from the pool

Check out Welcome Plaza Hotel 2nd Rd opposite Royal Garden...room rate about 600 baht and gets good reviews Large swimming pool and close to Pattayaland.
