I'm potentially interested in a long-term rental as well. Are houses in Silarporn Ville fenced off from their neighbours? I'm sure there may be others besides the one that is sold. A property with some privacy is a must!

If you keep away from the Farang targeted villages, there are plenty of 2/3 bedroomed bungalows for rent from about 2-3000 per month, but you really need to be here to look around and talk to the locals. May be a bit isolated for you though if neither of you speak the lingo.

If 2/3 bedrooms are that cheap, are 4/5 bedrooms available at all at under 10000 baht? And do these homes offer privacy from Thais that may wish to engage in unofficial farang studies?
