  1. Hi,

My wife and I will be visiting Thailand during March.

I have just discovered that her Thai passport expires in July!

As a result I have a few questions:-

    1. Will she be able to travel and return as there is less tha 6 months til expiry

    2. What are the steps to obtain a new passport with the ILR transferred to the new passport.

Is it also possible at this time to change her title to Mrs?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

  2. Dear All,

My Son's 1st birthday is rapidly approaching and I thought a good investment would be to buy 1 Rai of land (or is it my wife's idea ?:o )

We have been offered land near the family home in Khon Kaen province (Rice farming land with irrigation etc).

I would just like some advice with:-

    Average price for 1 Rai

Ownership of land for 1/2 Thai son (UK & Thai Passport)

Apologies if this question/s has been asked before but I guessed the prices may be quite fluid!!

    Many thanks :D

  3. I can only go by experience, but when my wife came to England, some extra baggage followed. This was in the form of a telephone call and valentines card. I quickly knocked on the head this "relationship".

I am not the jealous type, but why encourage deceit?

I can only surmise that the Dutch husband is doing likewise!

    Sorry to be blunt

  4. Many thanks

Have you ever used this site?

Yes and I've had no issues - always fast/reliable!!! :D

Can this site give samples of the tracks?

I am also very interested in seeing Parn live in Thailand. I have checked her webiste but as I am not a Thai speaker, found it difficult to suss out what is going on!

Is her music popular in Thailand? My wife rates her, so she must be good :o

    Thanks

  5. Hi All,

It's been a long time since I last posted!

My new son (10 months old) is Parn's greatest fan, having listened from womb, through birth to toddling! :o

Having witnessed him dancing to the only DVD we have, it begged the question..............where can I get hold of some Parn albums (preferably with thai/falang phoenetics)?

It would also crack me up to be able to send an e-mail to Parn telling her of her greatest & smallest fan!

We are currently UK based, but should be in Thailand again shortly.

I have tried the usual download websites, but being a bit of a technophobe, they totally confuse me!

    Any help gratefully appreciated.

    Cheers

  6. Hello to all,

My Thai wife and I have recently been given the good news that we are to be parents. Although I have a son of 17 already, this is my wifes first child.

Understandably, she is nervous and confused at all the changes that are happening to her body.

Living in the UK, I have not found any literature in Thai language that can help her with the explanations and advise that all pregnant ladies (and men!) need.

The Thai community here are very supportive but they also come out with a lot of "old wives tales", that muddy the waters.

Can anyone suggest a suitable booklet that may help her understanding?

    Thanks in advance.
