Anymore room in this round-up for jetski drivers near the beaches and ladyboys on soi 6/1 who say "I go with you?" :D

    I'll get my coat...

i was waiting for one of you arsewipes to come up with this, THE FINAL SOLUTION , I THINK THE FINAL SOLUTION WOULD BE, TO ROUND UP ALL THE ARSEWIPES , OR SHOULD WE SAY ,GUEST OF THIS COUNTRY , WHO ARE NOT HAPPY HERE , AND THROW THEM OUT , GO BACK TO YOUR SHIT HOLE , AND MOAN ABOUT LIFE THERE

  2. TV in this case being a television, not a transvestite.

I am the proud owner of a sodding big projection TV which has just been replaced by something smaller; and we want to send the big TV to my wife's family in Ubon.

Looking for a company that will transport it there with reasonable care; rather than throwing it in the back of a pick-up and hoping it won't rain (it would).

    Any (contructive) suggestions?

    Thanks

Motor bike taxi , make sure its at least 125 cc , and tell him he cannot take his wife and 3 kids with him , :o

  3. Could consulting a doctor rather than self-prescribing be a more sensible option...? :o

Thats very good advice Noel , i was self prescribing for my self ( thinking i had the flu ) nearly killed my self ,as i had some form of malaria , this is not the U K , go straight to a hospital ,

  5. Prices will go tits up, now that the interim government has decided that the laws concerning limited companies holding land will be followed to the letter!

As of last friday, Land and House department simply refuses to transfer any land title deed in or out a limited company with a Foreign shareholder, whatever percentage he may hold...

I do know that a lot of the land "owned" by Farangs is through a lease contract with their Thai partner, but for a lot of people this is not an option. One might be quit young, and not agree with the 30 year limit, one might simply not have a Thai partner (foreign couples spring to mind) etc...

Where I live, a lot of the Thai landowners, who have their land up for sale at pretty rediculous high prices, are suddenly sitting on low-priced agricultural land again. Very little of this land gets actually bought by a person just planning to build his own house on it, but the majority gets bought by either small or big scale developers, who most of the time want to go the company way...No more!

A poll done some time ago on Thaivisa showed over 23% of the house owners having gone the company way... And probably a lot of the others bought from a developers' company to then transfer the house to their partner...

i have been reading this site for 3 years and i have never before come across a idiot off the scale as this Monty , lets try this , as from last Friday Thailand has stop all investment coming into this country , Monty if Thailand took such action it would be on its arse with in 7 days , but i think a cleaver guy like you ,could take it on your self to inform the rest of the world whats going on ,

  6. my water bill went from 80 baht a month to 240 baht (standing charge )a month when i queried it they said house in company name , so now i have to pay a extra 200 % because iam a falang and cannot own a house my self , it will go on until a falang with 10,000 pounds a year income will have to go home to be able to afford to live

  7. i just hate falang women and there attitudes , and coming from a large family i use to watch my brothers going home after working 12 hour shifts to cook dinners and wash up and be treated like doormats , even my sister where at it , and when i say Thai ladies look after you i dont mean sex , i mean they look after the the man of the house and dont expect you to do the cleaning whilst there in some beauty saloon flogging a dead horse , this is the way i have seen life and no body is going to persuade me its not like that because it is ,and has anyone noticed its only after the devorce that the guy comes out and tells you what a shit life hes been leading , my oppinions UP TO ME

  8. Why don't us fellas have a men only forum ? Not that I'm sexist or anything, but whats good for them- - - - . :o

i agree Simbo , women have been selling themselves since time began so how can we let them have a opinion on this board , if a man is rich it does not matter to women if he looks like a bull dog chewing a wasp hes handsome , if hes broke hes a dirty old man and should be ashamed of him self for trying to get his leg over , women like children should be seen and not heard , and to all the falang women out there have a good christmass and get as much out of your man as you can , because if he comes out here and sees how real women look after there men , your days are numbered

  9. Some questions:

    1. What's the Bank Manager got to do with it all?

    2. How does your thinking put the blame for the traffic problem in Pattaya on me?

    3. I might be Thai but, then again, I might not be. What's the relevance in that?

    3. Are you stoned......by any chance?

i will answer your questions all though i dont think your wort the time of day

1 my bank manage has told me he is on less than 30,000 a month , 1,300 baht a day less expenses 200 baht leaves 1,100 baht a day times 30 = 33, 000 baht a month not bad for a half wit

2 all the empty cabs are driving around all day looking for you or the likes of you

3 you have got to be some sort of Thai to try and tell people to pay a driver 33,000 baht a month

and the next question is number 4 you half wit not 3 and the answer to that is i dont know , it depends on what bar i have been to and whether they have drugged me , to rob my money , anything else you would like to know

  10. artisian , for 1,300 baht a day its a wonder the whole 700 baht bus drivers dident turn up , in fact iam surprised that the local bank manage dident turn up , thinking about it its probley poeple like you who are causing all the traffic jams in Pattaya , 1,300 baht a day , are you thai by any chance

  11. I will be in Pattaya next year for a few days with a couple of friends, I was looking at hiring a car and driver for the day to have a good look around the place.  Does anyone know if you can hire a Baht bus for the day and an approximate cost of how much it would be for the day ?  If anyone has a Point of Contact it would also be appreciated.

    Regards

    John

There are somewhere between 650 and 700 baht buses in Pattaya, many of them working 24 hours each day. Each driver rents a baht bus from the Baht Bus Consortium for about 450 - 500 baht per day. The baht bus is filled with diesel for about 1,000 baht but, obviously, not all of this fuel is used in the 24 hours. So, the basic cost of the baht bus will be 500 baht with, say 250 - 500 baht for the fuel. The driver will want to recoup his costs and then add his time. At the most, probably 1,300 baht for a whole day's rent (24 hours). That's not bad split between three of you. It's all negotiable of course and any passing empty baht bus driver would be prepared to negotiate. I have done this before and arranged for a friendly baht bus driver to meet me the following morning.

Those people who want to say that " a friendly baht bus driver" is a contradiction in terms then grow up. Most of the drivers are polite, cooperative and friendly. I do accept that there are some "rogues".

for 1,300 baht a day , i will pick you up in my car and drive you around
