  1. Hi

I have a quick query and was wondering if any of you could help.

Myself and my wife are separated but not yet divorced. She is buying a condo and wishes me to sign a document for her saying the money that she will use to buy it is hers (which it is).

She is getting a mortgage to pay for this and i was wondering what the legal ramifications are for me. As we are still legally married i presume when we are divorced i would be entitled to half should i wish. From this document could i be liable to pay the mortgage and have debt attatched to my name through this and be asked for money or get into any kind of trouble if she doesn't pay?

I presume if we were divorced she would not need the document?

Any advice you could give me on this would be greatly appreciated.

  2. You should at least try and contact the embassy and explain the situation. They might be able to help you.

It only takes 10 days to get a passport after the application goes in.

As me and his mother were never married and he was born before July 1st 2006.....it is discretionary as to whether i can register him as a British citizen.

It should be possible but this process takes up to 4 months

  3. I was hoping someone could suggest what is the best thing for my son and i to do.....

I have a 5 year old son with i Thai woman.

We were never married and split up 2 years ago and i have taken care of him since then.

We live in Bangkok but now need to go and live in England with the full support of his mother. Due to slightly unusual circumstances we need to leave quite suddenley....in about a months time.

At present he only has a Thai passport.

Following some advice from a helpful chap on here i was going to go to go to England on a 6 month family visit visa then registar his birth while we were there and get his passport. As me and his mother were not married i am aware this is discretionary but it is possible under the circumstances. Then obtain his passport...leave the country and enter on his new UK passport.

A friend of mine in the UK has contacted the relevant authority in the UK to ask and they say that a settlement visa is the way to go.

Now i'm totaly confused as to what to do for the best.

Any input would be greatly appreciated

  4. Its hard to know what to do for the best. As with most of the people on here i think its best not to get involved but only recently after my friend left my house one evening he saw a guy on a motorcycle beating a women and didn't get involved. It turned out that the guy had tried to grab her handbag and she had resisted and he was beating her to get her off him.

  5. From my far away position of Bangkok I apologize for starting such a disgraceful topic and dragging down the forum into the gutter.

    Thai girls = Bar girls

    Sex tourists

    Is cheap sex important?

    Are bargirls unfortunate people?

Bgs never want to talk about.

    Would you be a bargirl

    Do you respect bargirls

Making a bargirl into a girlfriend

    Do women enjoy a vibrator?

    Would you marry a bargirl.

I now realise my topic was not of the calibre shown in the above topics and would have resulted in unnecessary sexual references which is in no way encouraged on this forum.

  6. Well?

Well-heeled Thai guys have them. Even the poorly paid security guard at my apartment has one.

So do any of you married guys have mia noi?

I've met a couple of guys that have them but not too many.

I know lots of guys who sleep with other women apart from their partner but one wife is enough and the idea of having 2 wives just means double the headache, right?

  8. If the video is the same as the newspaper then the girl in question is in her 20's and the guy is a bit older. I believe its pretty widely available as he is quite famous and as you said the girl is someone's daughter. They are in court at the minute cos the guys wife stole the tape and made the copies.

Don't know what the 14 on the cover was but if its that video then it is not her age.
