Yes, couldn't agree more! But the local taste seems to dictate a curved design that is rather out of proportion.

Thanks for the replies guys. I need this only for one wall / one side of room. I have the wire and LED lights ready just need this profile.

Normally these are light weight and very easy to install. Economic and fast option.

I have asked thais to do it, but got quoted silly prices for making such a simple job.

  2. just to update, did my china tourist visa today, only needed to fill out application form, attach photo and submit passport, nothing else needed. still have to submit in the building next to the main embassy, which is about 50m down the soi before the embassy. easy.

did you get the visa back on the same day?

  3. They did want a couple of extra photocopies though: the original Non-Imm 'O' visa (dating back to 2004!), and my last re-entry permit.

Interesting; I did mine in Chiang Mai yesterday and they wanted the same photocopies as you mention. Never asked before. I wonder what's up with that? Otherwise everything went as smoothly as yours, except I use the money in bank/pension qualifier. No problems.

You have to have valid Non-Imm O in order to apply retirement visa, right?

  4. Assume you are an expat living in los, you don't have a foreign bank account, you don't have a credit card, you do have a thai bank account with debit or e-card.

Can you now open a paypal account and withdraw funds from paypal to your thai bank account? The answer to this question would summarize all the postings I guess .

Im looking answers to this same question...

My GF have CC from Kasikorn Bank, can she use it to withdraw funds from paypal to kasikorn a/c?

    Thanks in advance!
