    Let's play Darts!!

    Last season Sheryle's Bar joined the Chiang Mai darts competition with 2 teams which take place on Wednesday evening on our second floor. For the coming season, we are looking for more players that like to join our teams or forming a new team. Each team needs a minimum of 4 players. All costs to sign up for the Darts Competition will be paid by Sheryle's Bar. It's all a bit of fun and has a good Night out with friends.     FREE Friendly Darts Tournament! at Sheryle's Restaurant and Bar

    Saturday 16 December Singles Darts Tournament

    Start 7 pm

     

    301 double out- no double in

    poule system followed up by winners/losers knockout.

     

    Placement in the poule will be done by draw. Each person will play minimal 2 games in the poule and minimal 1 more game in the next round, total 3 games. (Depending on number of players we will adjust the system)

     

    There will be a handicap build in for experienced players and previous tournament winners. This can be adjusted during the tournament as well. All rules will be explained before starting.

    Schedules of 2017 Loy Krathong & Yee Peng Festivals in Chiang Mai

    November 2, at 6.00pm:
    Opening activities of lighting candle trays, with traditional Lanna dance at the Three Kings Monument.

    November 2, at 7.00pm:
    The opening ceremony of 2017 Chiang Mai Yee Peng Festival at Lanna Folklife Museum.

    November 2, from 7.00pm to 11.00pm:
    Lighting candle trays around city moat at all city fortresses.

     

    November 2-3, from 7.00pm to 9.00pm:
    Lanna Folk Dance performance around old city moat.

    November 2-3, from 7.00pm to 11.00pm:
    Mister and Miss Yee Peng contest, at Lanna Folklife Museum.

    November 2-3, from 10.00am to 11.00pm:
    Respective ritual ceremony to Phra Sirimangkalajarn, at Chiang Mai Buddhist Place.

    November 2-5, from 7.00pm to 11.00pm:
    Lighting candle trays to worship the Lord Buddha, at The Three Kings Monument.

     

     

    November 3, from 8.00am to 10.30am:
    Worshipping ritual to House Spirits, White Pagoda and Ping River, at Chiang Mai Municipality Office, Sri Khong Pier.

    November 3, from 6.00am to 8.00pm:
    The Great Sermon hosted at eight temples including Wat Suan Dok, Wat Chiang Yuen, Wat Chai Sri Poom, Wat Bupparam, Wat Chai Mongkol, Wat Nuntaram, Wat Rampueng and Wat Jed Yod.

    November 3, from 7.00pm to 10.00pm:
    Floating of Lanna tiny candlelight (Krathong Sai) at Mae Ping riverbank.

     

    November 4, at 7.30pm and 9.30pm:
    Fireworks display in Honor of H.M. The King, at Mae Ping riverbank in front of Chiang Mai Municipality Office.

    November 4, from 7.00pm to 11.00pm:
    Grand Krathong procession contest, at Tha Phae Gate – Chiang Mai Municipality Office.

    November 2-4, from 6.00pm to 12.00midnight:
    Musical stage performance for anti-alcoholic drinks campaign, at The First Church Of Chiang Mai (Nawarat Bridge).

     

    Tourists are allowed to release fire lanterns between 7.00pm and 1.00am, on November 3rd and 4th, at Nawarat Bridge.
