  1. Can't imagine the HSR ever being completed....just too much graft in this country for it to ever be a working, viable transport system in Thailand....

Given the pre-contract payments that have to be made....Chinese constructors.........aint gonna make it off the rails!

Oh.... it will make it off the rails alright....

  2. The dog and pony show grinds on. Two things will happen tomorrow.

The sun will rise, and you will NEVER EVER see a list of hiso people

and corrupt government officials who have bought tax cheating super

cars. Not even sure why the government spews out crap like this..

There was a story in the Nation that said Chalerm had a total of 88 million baht worth of cars including his pink Bentley.

    http://www.nationmultimedia.com/life/Unsatisfied-lust-causes-short-delay-30178170.html

"Chalerm also owns a Bentley Mulsanne that's worth around Bt33 million and a BMW 760I, also pink, valued at Bt18 million. Now there's a Bt12-million Jaguar XJ too."

So Chalerm is either sleeping poorly, or he will make this whole issue go away quickly.. :-)

There was a story in..............Say no more, you "forgot" to quote the last bit of the story

    >Add it all up and you've got Bt88 million worth of wheels. None of the four cars was declared as a personal asset, ASTV observes,

ASTV, now who could that be owned by? None other than the person whose name starts with initial S, Sondhi Limthongkul.

    What a suprise coffee1.gif.

well....I'm thinking if this article was a complete bunch of lies wouldn't your mate Chalerm be screaming "defamation" ?

  3. "I didn't know what to do as it had already happened. The public will judge whether it's right or wrong," she said.

The Public......yep much better than relying on those pesky "Laws".

Would you please be so kind as to specify which laws should have been applied to preclude the beloved former PM from appearing.

Although the channel may be state sponsored, I take solace in knowing that the government did not engage in censorship.

Aren't you in favour of the government not meddling in programming decisions?

You got me. Not sure of the law prohibiting "beloved" convicted criminals from airing their views on state sponsored TV, sorry. Democrat MP for Songkhla Wirat Kallayasiri was quoted in the BKK Post as saying "Thaksin's appearance is unethical and unlawful." I and many other people tend to agree.

  4. Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra rejected reports that she would evade the censure motion, saying she had never said she would not be able to attend the session. "However, I cannot postpone some tasks which are in the country's interests,'' she said.

    She'll miss it!

Let's run a comp to see which excuse she will use to avoid turning up and actually answering any questions about "politicky" things.

    * Dog died.

    *Traffic was terrible

    * "Where is this Parliament place you speak of?

    * "Meeting my brother to discuss the interests of our dynast.....I mean country."

    * Sale on at Burberry Thailand.

  5. This keeps getting more ridiculous by the day. How can one man or one party so blatantly disregard the rule of law? Do Thai people even care that their laws and their country's wealth are being hijacked by these people? Where's the outrage?

    Ever been to Thailand?

Everyone pretty much disregards the "rule of law" when it suits, in particular the police themselves.

Sent from my GT-I9100T using Thaivisa Connect App

Ha, yeah, can't believe I asked where the outrage was again......coffee1.gif TIT
