Says they died from Carbon Monoxide leaking from the exhaust of their vehicle into the passenger cab. Keeping the ac on circulate mode and closing the windows would surely just compound the build up of CO.

If this was in Thailand, I wouldn't be surprised.

Good! Probably unlikely to get a prison sentence but it's likely going to cost Nott a heavy chunk of change - hopefully :)

Surely Trump is the next 'Taksin of the West'. I mean talk about conflict of interest.

The skillful breaking by the silver car just prior to successfully ramming the back of the minivan almost looks like it was an intentional ram. A bit of road rage perhaps.

Within the link article, Narcotics Act 2522 (1979) and the Psychotropic Substances Act 2518 (1975). Consumption of a controlled substance, including weed (Category V), is a punishable offense. The lowest tier is 1 month in jail and 2,000 Baht fine.
Thanks. So consumption is an offence, not just possession. I guess if you have a recent passport stamp to Amsterdam or US State where weed is legal you might have an arguement, otherwise it's gonna cost you

You said it man!!!
But what exactly ARE the rules? Normally countries will stipulate what constitutes possession. Does Thai law stipulate that a positive result from a urine test is punishable?
I guess the cost of legal representation will be more than the BIB fine, so perhaps we'll never know

What if they smoked pot abroad, then just recently came to Thailand with pot still in their system? Surely they wouldn't have broken any Thai laws?

A photo of the crazy psycho murdering woman on the run might be nice!!!

Maybe tough sentences were dished out knowing that the foreigners likely have friends or family with deep pockets in their home countires, just saying... maybe

This house is literally on the airport link at Baan Thap Chang - http://www.property-bangkok.com/viewproperty.asp?id=498
Very nice, modern house in private estate but only 20 mins to Asoke on the airport line, so easy to get into the city. Price can negotiate.
I used to live in this estate, there's plenty of shopping around within 10mins drive (Seacon Square, Paradise Park, Mega Bangna, Paseo, Big C etc.)

She accidentally fell off the back of a motorbike, probably wasn't wearing a helmet. If she wasn't wearing a helmet then she's just as much to blame as well as her cop murdering dad for not bringing her up correctly. He should do 20yrs in my book.

My wife is a great cook. In fact I never cook and I never clean. She's also very on the ball, packed with common sense, and the first person I turn to for advice. I wouldn't have married her otherwise (yes she's Thai :))
-
She still has a lot of followers who will likely follow her advise and vote no. Same goes for Apisit's rejection of the charter.

I went to give blood at the red cross behind Chulalonhkorn Hospital in Silom with my wife, but turns out they didn't want my blood as I lived in UK in the 80's and 90's and may still carry around mad cow disease!!

What annoys me is when you have a problem and call these companies up, they then make you wait 15 mins and charge you for the call!!

Might have to look into this. We have some land. Could take 500,000 loan at 4% and just pay it off the mortgage which is at a higher rate. Great!

If they tried to enforce meters in Phuket the taxi drivers would just blockage all the roads in protest. Been done many times in the past. They're an army in themselves.

Now that there is a nice big stockpile of ganja, perhaps there will now be talk of legalising it!

Can't see that much has been done to curb corrupt politicians. Not now, not in the past. Whilst I despise the levels of alleged cheating carried out by political parties (and the last one seemed to take the biscuit), if they aren't going to make any significant changes or arrests and just waste time while the economy suffers under military rule to the possible benefit of other some other fat cats, I say scr*w it, maybe they should let the cheating politicians back in. I really don't know which is the lessor of 2 evils anymore

Did anyone else notice the thai girl saying "Mai keng, mai keng leri"?
He's 21 and already can't get it up, how embarrassing?
-
Wouldn't a professional contractor already know the designs were faulty before they built the road, and advise the district accordingly?
-
Not much. Could have been more, should have stuck with the original tax rates.

Another factually incorrect and biased report by APF. Don't know why TV posts them to be honest.

Met him. Really nice guy. Makes handmade hammocks. Parents moved to Thailand when he was a few months old. Born and raised in Thailand, he's completely Thai apart from his genes and passport.
Not sure exactly the problem with him getting Thai Nationality, he did explain but went over my head.
To posters who say he should go home, he's lived his entire life in Thailand.
