I have read comments saying that The Dining Room at The Hyatt Erawan has the best dinner buffet in Bangkok. Has anyone been there recently? What is the price?
Any other high end dinner buffets to recommend(with price, please)?
Thanks for any comments.

It's time for my semi-annual health checkup. Previously, I have had comprehensive(for over 50) checkups at Bumrungrad and BNH. I notice that the comprehensive checkup at St. Louis is almost half the price of Bumrungrad and BNH. Has anyone had a comprehensive health checkup at ST. Louis? How is it in comparison to Bumrungrad or BNH?

I just returned from Siam Paragon. California Wow is closed permanently. I just met 3 California Wow trainers who have confirmed this info.

I have used Big Move(bigmovethai.com) several times, including once to move from Pattaya to Bangkok. They are located in Bangkok, very professional, cheap by Western standards but not by Thai standards.

Just thought I would let you know that you can file FBAR online . The only problem is that you need a Windows Operating system to do so.

I live in the Silom area and try to eat healthy most of the time. I can tell you that it is a big challenge when eating out in Bangkok. The closest to fairly healthy and reasonable eating in the Silom area is:
1. Beirut Restaurant---an inexpensive and popular Lebanese restaurant on Silom Road near Patpong(it is inside the little mall behind KFC. Order barbecued fish and vegetables and/or the barbecued chicken pieces with rice.
2. Bua--Thai restaurant on Convent Road close to Silom Road. Order steamed seabass(plakapong) in lime juice or soy sauce.
Good luck with your healthy eating!

We are living day to day here and so far all is OK in the CBD area. If you are not aware of it, the US Embassy is now by appointment only. You need to go onto their website and schedule your appointment.

I just happened to have asked Sun Belt Asia the same thing yesterday, and their reply, which I thought is too expensive for a simple Will was:
Our professional fee for Will Preparation is 9,500 baht plus 7% VAT.
Thanks for the response. I totally agree with you. Will preparation should be under 5,000 baht. Please advise if you find any better source.

The only butternut squash I have found in Bangkok is produced by Adams Organic. I buy it at the gourmet market in Siam Paragon(current price is 135 baht/kilo and the average size is about a kilo). Adams Organic also has a retail outlet on Soi Saladaeng where they sometimes have butternut squash for sale.
