  1. Can someone please give me a plausible explanation for why these attacks aren't hitting anyone?

I just can't believe that they could consistently miss their assumed targets with bullet after bullet after bullet, night after night.

If you fire a fully-automatic weapon into a crowd and you don't hit anyone, you should definitely consider turning the gun on yourself. You have failed at life.*

*Does it count as a flame if I'm insulting terrorists?

It's to scare the protesters, hoping their numbers will dwindle. They have been pulling sh*t like this, every time the numbers of protesters swell, like they did last night, on several stages. Thaksin knows, that if he lets too many more protesters get murdered by his red mob, there will be a coup, so now he is telling everyone just to scare people, not to kill them. Then again, I think, he will have a hard time keeping his pitbulls on a leash, as things keep going. wai2.gif

Kurtgruen another distinguished scientist who has now gathered all the facts and actually knows the people that did the act. Maybe give all your facts to the police so they can ,make the arrest... What a joke blink.pngblink.pngcheesy.gif

  2. And where were the Royal Thai Police while this was going on.

    . Farcical

Sent from my XT1032 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Last Sunday, when the protesters blocked the pre-election the police made a big raid at Soi Nana to check if some bar there sells Alcohol to tourists which is forbidden on election days.

And of course collect tea money.

Let that sink in and after a while you'll understand why so many people support Suthep and why he is so successful.....

The system is complete rotten down with corruption....now it is so rotten down that it can not even protect itself anymore.

    Suthep is so succesful cheesy.gifcheesy.gifw00t.gif

  3. Remove the Thaksin cancer from the body of Thai politics and defer the elections and indeed tension will be relieved.

Ironic when one considers the venue of the meeting, perchance instead of airplanes Thaksin is trying to ''fly a diversionary kite'' so as to disguise his true aims . Power at any price

Your statements get more and more ridiculous every time I read them. If the people want to remove the "Thaksin cancer" all they have to do is vote against it.

Power at any price? Seriously. How about power through the will of the people? I'm not a fan of Thaksin but this is ridiculous. Because a minority of people feel one way they think they can force their rule on everyone else. When it doesn't work they try to rig the game however they can to get into power. Be it making some votes count for more, or forcing the elected party out of power... repeatedly. It's that sense of self-entitlement which causes the dems to lose again and again. A little compromise would go a long way.

    Totally agree with you JC

  4. After Yingluck had decided to quietly step down yesterday, this announcement is a crying shame. And why did she change her mind ? Thaksin. Clearly she really wanted to go, as he had to scare her into staying. He pulled out all the stops. He had to threaten her with the prospect of being thrown in jail. Can you imagine doing that to your own sister ? It's beyond unfathomable. It's almost as if he isn't human. So now we have a prime minister who is more terrified of her brother than the people. Great. But it also means that every press conference she gives no one will ever make the mistake of thinking she is speaking for herself. Her words are Thaksin's words. He would rather she face a humiliating election, where she won't even dare to walk the streets of Bangkok, let alone the South - all to attain a parliament that will be unable to open. Why ? Because Thaksin sees this as the last chance he has to keep a grip on power. In reality, he lost that on October 13, with the public release of the amnesty bill. After that, there was no question that it would lead to this. But he can't see that. In fact, he can't see anything outside of his own blinding ambition. But his sister - not himself - has to deal with it.

So you were privy to all these calls and meetings were u??? So what u say is all fact. What a joke!!

  5. I wish all Thais would realize that this whole idiotic episode is about who gets to control government contracts. Who would die for someone else's pockets? It's definitely not for the plight of freedom and democracy. Btw, the Democrat Party should have their use of the word 'democrat' stripped from them. They are just as bad.

Why? Because they want a clean and non corrupt democratic system??

name one country in the world with a clean non corrupt democratic system !!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. None of you obviously have children. Why should they involve her kids? Is THAT fair?

I think it is a very disgusting low blow and he should be frowned upon for this dispicable act.

Oh yes and Abhisit didn't have children at home when they threw blood at his house.

Don't use words like 'disgusting' and 'despicable' when the people you're defending have used even worse tactics before.

    Hypocrites.

At the end of the day any kids should be left out of this mess. Its not right

  7. Is anyone else thinking that this guy must be the Cheapest Charlie in the world to be whingeing over 15 satang?w00t.gif

Is anyone else thinking than a multibillion company make the wrong choice when employing a bitter female cashier that won't say "mai pen rai" for 15 satangs over 635 Bts, as any food stall vendor would have done over 20 Bts ?

what other country would let u get away with not paying the total bill. None that i know..... Are u scottish??? Joking

  8. From wiki leaks whatever that means. I guess this is how they read into it. I assume it is their opinion only 1995 to present corruption scandal[edit]

As part of the Sor Por Kor 4-01 (สปก.4-01) land reform scheme, Suthep gave title deeds to 592 plots of land in Khao Sam Liam, Kamala and Nakkerd hills of Phuket province to 489 farmers. It was later found that members of 11 wealthy families in Phuket were among the recipients. Suthep addressed a huge crowd in his Surat Thani constituency a month before a no-confidence debate and called on his supporters to march on Bangkok in the hundreds of thousands to defend his reputation.[3] The scandal led Prime Minister Chuan Leekpai of the Democrat Party to dissolve the House of Representatives in July 1995 in order to avoid the no-confidence debate.[4] In subsequent elections, Thai Nation Party won a majority, leading to the downfall of Chuan Leekpai's Democrat Party-led government.

    2009 disqualification as MP[edit]

In 2009, Suthep was accused of violating the Constitution of Thailand by holding equity in a media firm that had received concessions from the government. Under the 1997 Constitution of Thailand, which Suthep had supported, Members of Parliament are banned from holding stakes in companies which have received government concessions. In July 2009, the Election Commission announced that it would seek a ruling by the Constitutional Court to disqualify Suthep.

Suthep held a press conference a day later, announcing his decision to resign from Parliament. Suthep's resignation as an MP did not affect his status as a Deputy Prime Minister and as a Cabinet member. If his case had been submitted to the Constitution Court, he would have been suspended from duty as Deputy Prime Minister. He insisted his resignation was not a proof that he had done anything wrong but that he was worried about status as Deputy Prime Minister.[5]

    Kasian is right.

Corruption in Thailand takes many forms. Dishonest and fraudulent behaviour is endemic and not confined to politics alone, and certainly not just to the incumbent government.

Successive military juntas from the 50's to the 70's and then civilian governments - some elected, some appointed - have bled Thailand dry for decades.

So, Khun Suthep, why not decry the institutionalised corruption, and those responsible for it, that have been a cancer of this society for so very long?

    Why not?
