Just spoke with another PG rep on the phone who said I will be going through immigration in Bangkok first.

I hate how 2 people from the same company can say 2 different things here...

How confident are you that I can transfer to CNX without passing an immigration checkpoint?

It changed apologies. Now there is a dedicated line at BKK. I used to go through to CNX and they had a desk there but it changed.  I must be living in the past lol.  Anyway no VIP and short queues if any. Enjoy your stay.

On what basis do you state this? Of course he will go through immigration in BKK. The only difference is that as a connecting passenger to CNX he will go through the dedicated domestic transfer at gates A/B instead of the main immigration, saving a lot of time. The luggage on the contrary will pass customs in CNX.

There is no VIP line, but it's unnecessary as the queue for the domestic transfer immigration is much shorter than the main immigration.

It is true that the system changed and now you get your stamp at BKK whereas in the past it was at CNX.

There is a dedicated line which I had forgot about as I had done it the other way so many times. Apologies.

LOL> You just cannot admit you are wrong even when it's obvious you are. I doubt Thais even think about words such as "racism", a word that some of you are obsessed with.

I can assure you, sir, that Thais I know would be aghast to be deemed the 'same race' as Laos, Cambodia or any other SEA country. Let's not be pedantic I think the point of discrimination was made and holds truth.

Not so straight forward I'm afraid........ there are wines bottled in the country of origin, such as Australia, France and South Africa which are already mixed with fruit juice before they are exported to Thailand.

Good thing is that on just about all of the back labels there is a description of the grape used and that it is mixed with fruit juice, clear for all to see. This is the same as the boxes/casks which are imported, BUT anything "produced" here by Siam winery (the Montclair people as well as a host of others) does not have this clear description, but hidden away on the back label are the words "fruit wine" and that's your lot!

Then of course you have the wines in the same category which are sold in the Wine Connection and these are grape juice which is mixed with fruit juice and bottled in Vietnam, and then exported to Thailand.

If you want to know the ins and outs of this whole business, including posts by a wine importer and very knowledgeable TV member, then look in the Montclair wine thread – – – so much more to read about this subject.

I never said that - whoever you are quoting it was not me (ChidlomDweller  I believe). Please be more careful although I accept it was an innocent slip

First of all, look at the label over the cap.  Blue means imported as is, brown-orange means it was imported as fruit juice (wine with alcohol extracted) with the alcohol added back in and bottled in Thailand as a tax dodge.  At least that bit is easy to see.  Anything under 400 Baht a bottle as well as cardboard boxes are nearly always with the orange label -- an abomination I refuse to drink.

Another red flag is where they call it "red" instead of "red wine".  If they studiously avoid to use the word "wine", you know why.

Finally, read the fine print on the back and look for "fruit wine", "fruit blend" or the like.

Annoying nanny-state shit like this is what's making me tired of this country.

Some good advice thanks. The price point is obvious but I had not realised 'blue' was unadulterated and orange was 'tax dodge' fruit 'hope you don't find out dear consumer'.

The whole thing is just a deceit and, lets be fair, Thais are clueless.

I just want an honest description of what I am buying - then I can choose what price I am willing to pay.

This is the point. I have spoken to Rimping on several occasions about mixing in the fruit wine rubbish amongst the 'real' wines and, frankly, they don't understand the difference.

Several have said to me "yes wine is made from grapes... fruit!"

Well, now you understand why Thais laugh at farangs. Sorry to say, once that Thai lady is out of ear shot she is providing a  depressing description of the  farang's  varicose and spider veins, and droopy white flesh.

I don't care I enjoy sleeping with gorgeous young things whenever I feel like it. Nothing like the young. Who wants to share a bed with a 40 something Thai OR Farang? oh you do?  you go for it dear fellow live and let live eh?

Sure. Just without sweeping generalisatios that everyone is paying for it. It's kinda on the same level denial as farang saying it's fine to live on 10k baht a month like a Thai. Otherwise I have the same right as anyone to comment on it. Btw, the thread should be renamed what do you most like about Thai prostitutes imo.

Judgmental fellow you are. Now let's move on.

I am not young. I'm 43.... But I didn't meet my wife on tinder. I am not judgmental, just making a sweeping statement like yourself.

I'm guessing your ex wife remark is that she's ugly. Well let's not forget how most of you folks look around these parts. Like the other guy said, I'm be rather wanking off to a computer monitor. At least those women are better actresses.

Not at all my ex-wife was back in my home country. That was years ago but she cost me a pretty penny was my point.

Now I love being single and free and if I have to give 'help' to a young lady I want to sleep with why not? Boring screwing same lady every night, change is as good as a rest!  no point ping pong with these messages you go enjoy your life and I will undoubtedly enjoy mine.

I may be delusional about many things, but I certainly don't lie to myself. If anything, you'd need to look in the mirror and realize the hypicisy of your comment considering you made a pretty sweeping statement that guys are paying for it one way or t'other. I certainly find it insulting towards my wife who makes her own pretty coin and would certainly never allow herself (as any other Thai women who doesn't work in the industry) to have taken the picture like above even with her face blurred....and while the girl in the picture is pretty, my wife who is 36 and works for a very famous international company looks better because after a 10 hour work day she still finds the time to go to gym.

Now, like I said.... if you guys want respect and people minding their own business about you having sex with prostitutes at least you could try not to paint all Thai women with the same brush. Capish?

Oh dear have we hit the nail upon it's sweet head? I did not post that photo (you imply I did) nor would I.

Calm down, calm down my dear fellow and I'm sure your wife is 'different' and I'd love to ask you the same question in 10/20 years but alas methinks our paths will not cross. Enjoy your perfect life looking down on the rest of us and don't take yourself so seriously.

Yes....let's be honest "gentlemen". Younger guys are not paying for it one way or another....or people who didn't marry a bargirl are not paying for it one way or another....or perhaps some lucky old guy who managed to find a rich Thai woman (there are quite a few here) is not paying for it one way or t'other.

Maybe if fine old gentlemen like yourself would like not to be judged, perhaps you should also accept the fact that many men here are not paying for it one way or "t'other".

You are, you are, dear fellow, but I'll let you dwell in your pool of delusion if you must. One who lies to himself is the worst of all.

I especially liked your "perhaps some lucky old guy who managed to find a rich Thai woman" so on that one you're right SHE is paying and is likely to be same age or older so that's the exchange and nothing wrong in that if one is desperate for coin. I'm happy being amongst the vast majority who see it for what it IS.

Youth is wasted on the young dear fellow, have a lovely day.

I'm not more arrogant than those old farts claiming I'm only existing and can't possibly be living on my 20,000 baht spending per month (I have more than that available for use, I just use only 20,000 a month).

I am not one of them so exert your young angst elsewhere. Enjoy life as I have and DO.

Sure you can have sex for money. But good sex?

yeah see, this is the difference between me and you other posters on this site. I'm not as old as you folks are.

Yes Sir I get that. However age will come to you soon enough so I'd hold that arrogance back a bit if I were you. You will be there one day as sure as eggs is eggs.
