  1. Take the Lazada App off your phone and it will stop the Lazada <deleted>. If you are with AIS you can get them to block the spam or you can do yourself from their website on your login. Other service providers not sure, but worth a call to ask. Cheers
  2. Thailand paid twice as much for Sinovac as compared to AZ etc. China donated 100,000 to ensure their citizens were vaccinated, plus a bit of spare. A few other countries did the same. The US told Thailand that 10% had to go to "Dirty Falangs" as well as 20% to frontline health care workers. So no cut in accepting a donation and having to do as told, also no kickback for buying US vaccines as the US Government will prosecute any company who does. Join the dots. Cheers
  3. My take is a little different. Despite the US embassy denying that there were strings attached to the first 1.5million doses, there were, remember one of the many generals standing up at some gab fest and saying 10% had to go to expats and so much to health care workers etc, well I have had that fact confirmed by 2 different doctors, thank you USA by the way as I benefitted. I feel that Anutin or one of his cohorts did not like being told how to distribute the windfall so decided to treat the US to some Thai bureaucracy for the second batch. Now just a face saving exercise as it has become public. Truly despicable actions though, and I hope one day to see the karma delivered for it. Cheers
  4. They paid a lot more for the Sinovac than was the going rate. There was some price breakdowns in the BP I think it was the other day where A Nut In charge was touting how much cheaper they are getting it now and revealed the original price, I wonder where all the excess payment ended up, hmmmm. Cheers
  5. 2x Pfizer with the second jab on 31st Aug at Medpark. Thanks to whichever branch of the US government facilitated, as was damm near impossible to get otherwise down Pattaya way, even though I met the criteria. Hopefully everyone who got vaccinated in Thailand updated the Mor Phrom phone app, I have a feeling that it may become important in Thailand at least. I am now in Singapore for a job, the rules for Singapore are no vaccination certificate means no entry and entry only allowed two weeks after second jab, and I still have to do two weeks hotel quarantine and a total of 3x PCR tests and 3 x ATK tests, plus a blood test to prove antibodies. Welcome to the world of travelling during Covid. Cheers
  6. Chulabhorn Royal Academy orders are not the same as government orders. The academy is ordering vaccines and selling/giving away as they see fit irrelevant of of the government wishes. It makes me laugh because they blindsided Prayut and Anutin by ordering the Sinopharm recently, and the first they knew about it was when it was published in the Royal Gazette. But they cannot say anything about it as to do so would risk a charge of Lese majeste due to the connections of the academy. Hoist on their own petard of abusing the lese majeste law to their own ends. Cheers
  7. I am pretty sure both UK and Aust have changed to a 8 weeks between doses schedule for AZ. The 12 to 16 weeks was aimed at getting lots of people done with at least one jab while there was little stock. Now that there is surplus AZ it is 8 weeks, which lies between the guideline 4 to 12 weeks. My friend who put me on to the 8 weeks business locally got his second jab today, another friend in Australia also second jab at 8 weeks. I had my second of Pfizer on Tuesday after 3 weeks, happy to get it over with. Cheers

  9. I am happy with 3 weeks, as as soon as I get second jab plus 2 weeks I will be off to work, first time in 18months. When checking your Id# check for 8 weeks between jabs for AZ, that is the new number. Cheers
  10. Sounds like you are experienced at living in Thailand. Apparently about 50% show the code. I have uploaded a copy of mine to a couple of the other posters. Yes I would ask at vaccination centre, starts with a 6 and is 13 characters long. Cheers
  11. My paper after first. Note it is an MOPH form from Medpark. Apparently about 50% do not have the info, ask your vaccination centre. Cheers Cheers Vaccine001.pdf
  12. Apparently some are doing it differently. I have attached a scan of the paperwork I received after the first jab. Starts with a 6 and 13 characters long. All I can suggest is ask your vaccination centre. Cheers Vaccine001.pdf
  13. Government apparently. Extending the period was to try and stretch out available vaccines as they got it so wrong. I know a couple of people who contacted the vaccination centre and oh yes is 8 weeks, did we not contact you already? Cheers
  14. Shame they did not order enough vaccines so as to make this feasible, then delaying the time between jabs of the AZ was just the cream on the cake. In case anyone is affected the revised time between shots of AZ is 8 weeks, not 12 or 16, your vaccination centre may have "forgotten" to update you. It is easy enough to prove vaccination of both staff and customers using the Mor Phrom smartphone App so that is doable, but Antigen tests before entry, a dead duck that will be ignored. Before I get told that the Mor Phrom App does not work for expats, it does. Basically on you paperwork received from the vaccination centre is an Id number that starts with a 6 and is 13 characters long, enter that and it should the bring up your details., certainly worked for me. Cheers
  15. Well in numbers Soon in Thai is zero. So expats have zero chance if A Nut In has any say in it. I think he is meaning 300,00 foreigners instead of expats ie the labourers from the neighbouring countries, the Chinese dosed by their own government initiative, the French etc. Makes it all sound very positive. His next posting will be TAT and he is getting in practice with his rubbery numbers. Cheers
  16. Go and check with whoever again. I was told today AZ is now 8 weeks between shots. Very reliable source which I am not allowed to disclose, think who stands behind a pharmacy counter. This is Chon Buri province where the rollout is being organised by pharmacists, but should be the same everywhere? Being Thailand sometimes you need to ask. Cheers
