    Ok so now you have moved onto hammers (somewhat ridiculously) but let's go with that.   If the nutcase could only obtain a hammer to carry out his killing spree how many kids do you think he would have killed?   The police did not confront the nutcase for an hour as they were scared of getting shot by his high powered rifle, even wearing body armour.  Do you think they would have been equally scared if he only had a hammer or do you think the reason they were so scared of the gunman is because he was in possession of a legally obtained semi automatic rifle?

    Well he had 60 minutes before the police entered the building, my guess would be all of them.

    No one is expected to carry a gun, the program is completely voluntary.  So you speak for most teachers?

    Once the assault rifle ban between 1994-2004 ended, mass shootings more than tripled. While it is impossible to scientifically demonstrate the link, the evidence is overwhelming both within and outside of the USA. Access to more guns and more destructive guns leads to exponentially more deaths.

    That entire article is BS.  The fact is prior to all these so called "fact checkers" rewriting history there was no discernable difference between before and after the law.  I remember law well.. it was absolutely a farce.  It banned flash suppressors, certain stocks, etc.. it simply required you to modify the gun so it looked different.... manufacturers simply made a modification to their weapons to comply with the new law... hear this.  It was the EXACT same weapon only slightly modified.

    There is a lot of information coming out that this kid has been previously arrested.. there were plenty of red flags, no new law was needed.  If law enforcement had done its job we probably wouldn't be in this situation today.

    The shooter in the school in Texas, how many could he have killed using a knife before he was overpowered? Probably none because killing with a knife is harder and much more personal.

    Guns are lethal anonymous weapons, if you  continue to grant the general population easy access to them, then mass shootings will continue in the land of the 'free'. 

     

    Does being killed by a knife make you any less dead?

    Go with the latest surgery they offer.. I want to say I paid 3500 in 2013 for the procedure with lifetime corrections if needed.
