  1. Lai Thai is ok, although a tad out the way, but the 'If you stain the sheets you have to pay 50 baht' sign stuck to the counter doesn't make one feel at home, not saying that you stain your sheets at home of course.

Never had any problems at Lai Thai. All the staff are very friendly but that is because I now know them - they are like friends to me.

www.laithai.com is the website - It is not too far from the bars on Loi Kroh and only a 15 minute ride in a tuk tuk from the airport.

  2. Can someone tell me if this is the busy time of the year  because of the holiday's  My wife just got her visa and I have been looking.  I can get a flight to overseas but the problem is getting a flight to bangkok,  seems really booked up.

The soonest I can get is January after the new year holiday.  :o

since you dont say where from how can we comment ! durrrhh

so it all depends on where you are ...

He is flying from Florida - read the whole topic not just selective parts!

  3. So that when we do come to LOS, we remember to visit. On second thoughts, It is the only duty free at Don Muang - not difficult to remember to shop there really is it. I prefer the Singah Adverts at the footie - means I think I could be in Thailand and not in wet and cold England! (I wish they served it in the ground as well as advertise it!)

What it really is for is the beam back to LOS and something that the Thai's can relate to. Like Everton and Beer Chang! (I'm not a blue)
