He still must have been high or very very very dumb. Anyway I think it's Ok to put him in the Hilton for a long time. Death penalty would be a little bit to harsh. But they won't put him to death anyway. You do this shit in Thailand, you gotta take the consequences. In my country the guy would be in the joint not even a couple of days for this, but he didin't do it in my country. I wish him all the best and a good stay in Thailand.

So,are you sure I won't have any problems entering Thailand with this passport?!!

Moreover I forgot to mention that my passport was issued by my embassy in Bangkok and that according to my passport I am still resident in Thailand. I have never changed my "redidence", so in my passport is still Thailand written as my residence.

Should that be a problem?

Hello everybody,

I have a question and hope sombody can help me with that. I have been staying in Thailand for almost two years. I have left Thailand in March 99 and haven't been back there till now. While I have been living there I had sent my passport several times to Malaysia to get it stamped. A travel agency did this service for me. Now I would like to go to Thailand for holiday, but stil have al them stamps in my passport. The question is wil I have a problem reentering Thailand with this passport or wil it be OK, since it was over 4 years ago. Can they see, if watching the old stamps, that the passport was sent? Any quick reply wil be greatly appreciated.

A friend of mine, having just returned from the Land of Smiles, blowjobs and threesomes said he enjoyed his trip and felt he had been a good foreigner, when I enquired why he began to explain...  

He flew with Thai Airways business class but service was economy, he took a metered taxi but was told 300 baht was better for him, he stayed at the Asia hotel where the touts took him to many bargain places, he barfined a girl who than asked him for 3,000 baht but wanted to leave quick as she did not like kissing, he bought a flower garland at the Erawan shrine and paid what they asked, he met a nice girl who wanted to get out of the bar scene so he bought her out of the bar and gave her 100,000 baht but when he said that should be enough for food and shelter for a year he finds he cannot contact her.  

He took a hotel car (old car) for 850 baht back to the airport.  All of this and more made him feel he had been a good foreigner...  I said no, he said why,  I replied, you would have been a good foreigner if you had given all the money without being bothersome to come here, just send the money to everybody and make sure you pay the Thai bank charges as well on transferring.  

My feeling is they want our  money but not us, they want our expertise but don't want to pay for it just to copy it.  Good for some of us that they can't copy Mercedes Benz cars or speak good English otherwise that would be the end for us all here.
