500 Baht! I couldn't drink that much beer, unless I was " stupid ferrang".
560 Baht......Would buy me.....48 pints of Ar-Cha from the local suppliers.
You guys must be on the wrong planet!
No wonder all the Thai's talk about millionaire farrangs.

1 x Packet of beef stroganoff, 1 kilo beef, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped carrot, 1 chopped leak, half a kilo of mushrroms and a couple of chopped spuds.
Mix the packet of stroganoff in 1 and a half pints of water.
Fry off the beef and onion until brown.....Add to the sauce with the rest of the ingredients. Place in a pre-heated oven for two hours on gas mark 3.
Just had it for my tea......Still farting!!!!!!!

At 8 baht per re-fill, I doubt you'd get anyone to deliver to an apartment. e

What you will need. 1 tin opener, 1 fray bentos steak and kidney pie.
Open said tin and place in pre heated oven, gas mark 5. Cook for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Recommended serving suggestions. Gin kondieow!

I have done the run, on and off for a few years.......I'll get to Huahin about half an hour behind you. Costs me about 370 baht!
Then again..........I'm a keenyow.

I remember having a meal with you Professor. Probably after one of our fishing trips!

PS. Op.....It's next door to the Saengthong condominium.

I travelled a couple of years ago to Cha-am by bus from Phuket. It helps if you know the area.......As I had to tell the driver where to stop.
That was on one of the normal " blue " government buses, caught in the evening from the main bus station in Phuket town. It arrived in Cha-am about 05:45 am.

The Rang Yen is situated on the beach road in Cha-Am. It has about 4 houses situated in the grounds of the restaurant, very pleasant.
The address is 259/40 Ruamjit road. Tel: 032-471267.
-
The place that I think you are referring to is a recently opened establishment, a cross between a "crazy golf " and " par three " course.
It's situated on the left hand side of the main road if you were on your way to Cha-Am, still in the city limits.
Claire.
PS. It's got giant floodlights so shouldn't be hard to miss.
-
Fergs, how about that Rang Yen place?
The Rang Yen starts at around a thousand baht per day, probably due to the fact that they house about four to six people.

I've always arrived about lunch time and had no problems leaving the following afternoon.
That's for double entry and 1 year non imm O visa's.

The words AND and OR are very similar in Thai.
AND และ or กับ.........OR หรือ or รึ
Similarities ???????????

If and when you register your address to the British Embassy. They will issue you with a stamped official document declaring that ....There is no information in our consular records to the detriment of the applicant.
This document is worth its weight in gold....As far as Thai officialdom is concerned.
That's as long as you've been a good Boy/Girl in the UK!

Asretroll....You're telling lies again? Why would a Thai Immigration Officer want to talk to you? And if he / she did....How low down the pecking order would they be?
You're living in la-la land...............
Bangkok Post.............Top Immigration Official talks to Numbskull!
Give us all a break.

Just for the record. My wife is very religious and I stand by her.
And remember....There's more than one way to skin a rabbit.
Flashing the cash! I don't think so. It's a bit like telling everyone you can afford a retirement visa etc.....Doesn't make you a better person?

In reply to Dr Pat Pongs question. I have a multi entry visa. Every 90 days I leave the Kingdom. Am I not a walker? Or am I better than the people who have to leave every 30/60 days? I personally don't think I'm any better!
By the same reasoning.....I don't think that any person is better than me because they have a visa that allows them to stay in the Kingdom for a year without having to leave.
Horses for courses comes to mind.
As for opalhort.....Beggars belief????
Now someone answer my question!
If you do border runs every month. Are you illegal?
NO. NO. NO. NO.
-
Dr Patpong.
Please let everyone on this forum know what visa they legally require to stay in Thailand!
I always thought a non imm o or even a tourist visa would let you stay legally in Thailand?
Am I wrong?
Am I staying in Thailand illegally with my non imm o visa?
You seem to know everything.........
Please enlighten everyone!

It cost me about 120 baht.....All in at the Amphur.
I got married legally...Never mind these Bhuddist weddings, they mean SFA.
Then have a party afterwards.

Dr Pat Pong. I just hope that other users on this branch realise that you are a moderator.
As far as walkers go......What is your problem with walkers?
Are you far superior to the rest of the walkers on this branch?
I am a walker for my own reasons.....I own property in the UK that you could probably only dream of owning . Then again.....I'm making presumptions about you! Just like you make the presumptions about the walkers!
I only hope that the ordinary people on this website see through you and see you for what you are???????????

Arstral....Somewhere in your mind you seem to have forgot something......I was talking about Penang. No other place. Have we got that straight now?
And as for being a "runner" as the doc prescribes......He couldn't be farer from the point.
I was read about a decent guy whom had lived, supported and taken care of everyone in his family....The poor B*******d found himself without the necessary money ( according to the Thai's ) to support his family. He had already been doing this for several years!
Now we've got Dr Pat Pong and Asrtral telling them they are the walkers!
I dearly hope that life goes wrong for the both of you!
You two live in a smug little world.
