A big article in the news section about corruption & how to deal with it. I hope he get's caught big time, the biggest crook I have ever seen & not a bit shy about it.
His day will come & they will wipe that smug look off his face..
+1
I believe in Karma. He will get his comeuppance.
Tchooptip - you did OK at 5,000 baht. I remember someone posting on here that he had paid 40,000 baht for a retirement extension.
I too hope this low life bird man gets his comeuppance. Last year he tried the 5000 baht demand with me but I totally refused and thankfully got away with it.
What could I really do if he refused the extension ??
Recently renewing my extension he obviously remembered me and was obnoxious and rude but didnt ask for the 5000.
I was required to have a doctors letter too and that 'no sign of a house' google map. they make it up as they go.

I tend to agree with what your saying Bertty, although I do live and let live with less judgement these days. Too many 'selfies' is a character flaw for sure.
The up side of mega selfies on FB or any other dating site is instantly knowing the shallowness of the owner.

Hi All,
I am possibly looking to have some work done to my vehicle by Ohm's workshop.
This is the large garage either side of the road selling / hiring Harley's etc and with a number of raised Jeeps outside.
On the ring road heading from Chaweng to Lamai just before the Lamai hills.
My question is has anyone had any dealings ie, quality of work, honesty, etc with Ohm's service. ??
thank u in advance

I am thinking of getting a zoomer for around town just wondering is there any updates on it and what people thoughts are on it
Hi Tom21
I have had my Zoomer for over a year now and covered 15000 kms. I love it and wouldn't change it for another scooter.
100% reliable and superb build quality from Honda and very economical.
Its suits my needs as I can carry stuff safely in the leg well and has enough power for a passenger around town.
I also like the styling but did a few inexpensive upgrades.
The changes I made included spraying the rear mud guard white to balance the look, chrome covers on 8 different places, foot plates, light and indicator grills, slim line mirrors from Big C and handlebar padding.

Question is that "extension of stay signing" as you mention it
A- Your 90 Day report ?
B- The renewal of your extension of stay ?
In case it's A you can do it 15 days before and up to 7 days late
In case it's B better do it early, and not wait till the last day/
Thank u for the answers and good info.
My signing is (A) 90 day report.

Near Chaweng Noi.
Coming from Lamai towards Chaweng on the ring road after the viewpoint there is a Chinese graveyard on the left side of the road, after that about 100 meters there is a very small Castrol sign, turn left there and about 250meters up the road is an excellent garage, they have done exemplary work on both my truck and my brothers. Fair price and a good bunch of folks.
Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect Thailand
Thats great info thank u Can samui, I know the where u mean I'll check them out

How about trying the Isuzu dealer,? between Nathon and Lipa Noi area... might be a good place to start!
Yes a good starting point
I was really looking for a local type guy used to older gearbox's rather than a large company with larger bills.
Of course quality of work and a 100% fix is needed, so any other suggestions are welcome

Back on topic; what's with all the averted eyes, manly silence and homophobic tension at the gym?
The thought process that niceness is weakness

But I dont know any more than that

Hope someone in Chiang Mai can help out.
Im coming there to ride in a few days time direct from Samui and as mine our at the end of there life and Samui shops have nothing in stock
Is there a recommendation for a shop that will have these in stock. I really need the gel padding not the standard cloth/ foam mix padding
